Abstract: A method of applying a coating composition to a substrate utilizing a high transfer efficiency applicator include the steps of providing the high transfer efficiency applicator comprising an array of nozzles wherein each nozzle defines a nozzle orifice having a diameter of from 0.00002 m to 0.0004, providing the coating composition, and applying the coating composition to the substrate through the nozzle orifice without atomization such that at least 99.9% of the applied coating composition contacts the substrate to form a coating layer having a wet thickness of at least 5 microns, wherein the coating composition includes a carrier, a binder, and a radar reflective pigment or a LiDAR reflective pigment. The coating composition has an Ohnesorge number (Oh) of from about 0.01 to about 12.6, a Reynolds number (Re) of from about 0.02 to about 6,200, and a Deborah number (De) of from greater than 0 to about 1730.

Abstract: A condensate discharge system for an exhaust gas measuring device. The condensate discharge system includes a condensate separator in which a positive pressure prevails, an outflow line in which atmospheric pressure prevails, a connecting line, and an intermediate reservoir in which the positive pressure prevails. The intermediate reservoir is arranged between the condensate separator and the outflow line and is directly connected to the condensate separator via the connecting line. The intermediate reservoir includes a float valve via which a condensate is dischargeable into the outflow line.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing an optical component consisting of at least two individual parts, which together enclose an open cavity, wherein the timer sides delimiting the cavity are coated or structured, and from which previously material has been removed in zones in the region of the free aperture, wherein said region is recoated and the individual parts are connected to one another by wringing. The wringing height is greater than the removal height plus the height of the coating. The invention also relates to optical components which are produced according to this method.

Abstract: A control mechanism for controlling a plurality of movable elements of a ventilation nozzle using only one drive. The control mechanism includes a base body, a control gate, and at least two driven elements. A sliding block element having two degrees of freedom with respect to the base body is guided by alternating movements in two opposite directions of the first degree of freedom by the control gate and, in the process, consecutively abuts the first and/or second driven elements. So as to design such a control mechanism as simply as possible, rotational movements are utilized, instead of translatory movements.
