  • Patent number: 7500865
Abstract: An electrical connector includes two connector parts each having a high-load (“HL”) housing with an HL contact and a low-load (“LL”) housing with a LL contact. One LL housing is movable relative to the other LL housing. The parts are movable to join and separate from one another. The HL housings join upon the parts joining such that the HL contacts join and establish a HL connection. The LL housings join after the one LL housing moves toward the other LL housing while the parts are joined such that the LL contacts join and establish a LL connection. The LL connection is prevented from being established until the HL connection is established as the LL housings are prevented from joining until the HL housings join. • Patent number: 7497499
Abstract: A vehicle includes a roof, a compartment, and a lid. A roof kinematic system moves the roof between a closed position and a stored position in which the roof is in the compartment. The lid is movable between a closed position in which the lid covers the compartment and an opened position. First and second locks include respective closing parts movable between locked and unlocked positions. A shared kinematic system connects the closing parts to synchronously move them together. When the roof is in its stored position within the compartment and the lid is in its closed position over the compartment, the shared kinematic system moves the closing parts to their locked position such that the first part interacts with the roof and locks the roof within the compartment and the second part interacts with the lid and locks the lid over the compartment.

  • Patent number: 7495575
Abstract: A gear pump for the dosed conveyance of pigmented lacquers or paints and which is adapted for use with a painting robot. The gear pump comprises two toothed wheels meshing with one another and which are mounted within a pump housing in such a manner that they can be rotated by a driven drive shaft and a fixed bearing shaft. For this, the drive shaft is mounted by a bearing section at multiple points in a pump housing and a coupling section of the drive shaft projects out of the pump drive to connect to a drive. In order, on the one hand, to avoid wear due to high pressure forces and, on the other hand, to absorb a pronounced load from the outside, a supporting bearing for the radial and axial support of the drive shaft is formed on the drive shaft's coupling section projecting outside of the pump housing.

  • Patent number: 7496322
Abstract: A device and a method are provided for recharging a belt conveyor which is used for transporting a printing medium in the transfer area of an electrophotographic printer or a copying machine. The device includes a blade-like contacting element which is adjacent to the belt conveyor and arranged transversally with respect to the forward motion thereof. The contacting element makes it possible to transfer an electric charge to the belt conveyor and is mounted on a bearing element which can be inserted into a printer or a copying machine and withdrawn therefrom. A method is provided for controlling a printer or copier device by which errors, such as paper jams, can be cleared automatically. A controller commands a module having the error to clear the error automatically. The commands are sent to modules beginning at the output of the printer or copier device and moving in a reverse direction to the paper flow direction of the printer or copier so as to automatically clear errors such as paper jams.

  • Patent number: 7494190
Abstract: A longwall support in a mine that comprises a plurality of longwall support units. The longwall support units are supported relative to a conveyor by stays that comprise cylinder-piston units. A control system with data acquisition, data storage, and programming is used to adapt the distribution of the staying forces over the length of the longwall, the sum of the staying forces acting upon the length of the longwall (total staying force), and the distribution of the advance forces over the length of the longwall continuously to the desired position of the conveyor. As a result, it is possible to influence the total staying force by the number of the stays with respect to an adjustable maximum, or the total staying force by controlling the longitudinal forces of the individual stays, or the total staying force as a function of at least one of the end positions of the conveyor.

  • Publication number: 20090046148
Abstract: Camera for identifying soiling on a protective screen. The camera is focused on a scene behind the protective screen and can be used to identify soiling and for other applications, e.g. to identify driving lanes and/or to identify objects. Soiling is identified merely by evaluating frames recorded in succession, artificial reference frames or reference objects are not required. A prerequisite for a successful measurement is that the relative speed vrel of the camera and of at least one recorded object in the surroundings is not equal to zero and its trajectory is predicted in the depiction. By comparing the relevant frame sections, possible soiling on subregions of the protective screen is identified.
