Abstract: In a method and system for transmitting print data in blocks from a transmission unit to a reception unit via a data line by means of channel command words (CCWs), a channel initialization command (unit) is transmitted from the reception unit to the transmission unit for starting the data transmission of a first data block and the data block is transmitted from the transmission unit to the reception unit. The reception unit forwards the received data blocks to a check unit for checking the data integrity (parsing) and promptly sends a transmission confirmation message (Sim Term) to the transmission unit before or during the checking process (parsing), so that a second data block can be transmitted from the transmission unit into an intermediate memory of the reception unit during the checking process (parsing) of the first data block.

Abstract: A device for inward and outward transfer of material comprises a conveyor section with a continuous belt for receiving the material at an angle, and an airlock section and a guide section for guiding the continuous belt. The airlock section has a rectangular end area and an acute-angle end area. There is a drive having a driving drum and a back-up roller. The drive is arranged in proximity to the rectangular end area of the airlock section and the back-up roller is displaceable in a direction of the driving drum.

Abstract: A device for inward and outward transfer of material to be conveyed at an angle into a conveyor section. The device comprises an airlock section over which the material is conveyed, having a rectangular end area and an acute-angle end area; and a guide section disposed proximate to the acute-angle end area of the airlock section. A continuous belt is guided around the airlock and the guide section and a drive moves the continuous belt. At least one guide element is disposed at the acute-angle end area of said airlock section, wherein said at least one guide element is detachable on at least one end.

Abstract: Gypsum plaster compositions with improved adhesion to plastic surfaces and metal surfaces comprise from 10 to 90% by weight of gypsum plaster, based on the total weight of the composition, and also, where appropriate, other additives, and a combination of: a) one or more water-redispersible polymer powders based on one or more vinyl ester, (meth)acrylate, vinylaromatic, olefin, 1,3-diene, or vinyl halides monomers, and optionally other monomers copolymerizable therewith; and b) one or more alkali metal and/or alkaline earth metal salts of short-chain fatty acids having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms in the hydrocarbon skeleton and from 1 to 4 carboxy groups, and which contain no OH groups.

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas bag module comprising a gas bag which has a gas bag wall with a front wall section. The module further comprises a cover which has a given annular section which closes an annular outlet opening for the gas bag and has a stationary central portion which is surrounded by the annular section. A section of the gas bag wall other than the front section has an outflow opening which in a folded state of the gas bag is arranged beneath the central portion in such a manner that on outlet of the gas bag, the central portion arrives via the outflow opening into an interior of the gas bag.

Abstract: The power train of a motor vehicle has an automated transmission and/or an automated clutch, at least one control unit and at least one actor receiving signals from the control unit and serving to control the operation of the automated constituent or constituents of the power train. A reestablishable connection can be interrupted in the event of a malfunctioning of the power train, such as exhaustion of the supply of electrical energy, defectiveness of the actor and/or defectiveness of the automated constituent or constituents and/or defectiveness of the motion transmitting connection or connections between the actor and the automated constituent or constituents. This renders it possible to set the transmission in neutral or into another gear and/or to select the condition of the clutch in such a way that the vehicle can advance to a selected destination under it own power or that it can be towed to such destination.

Abstract: A printed circuit board tester includes an electronic analyzer and a grid pattern of contact points arranged in a regular pattern in a grid pattern plane. The contact points of the grid pattern are electrically connected to the electronic analyzer such that test points of a circuit board can be electrically scanned, whereby several contact points of the grid pattern are electrically interconnected. The circuit board is connectable to the contact points of the grid pattern by an adapter and/or a translator. The tester includes several grid bases, each of which comprises a contact point narrow side surface at which the contact points are arranged. The grid bases are provided with tracks, each of which is electrically connected to several contact points. Each track includes an electrical terminal connection leading to a terminal contact for connecting the electronic analyzer such that several contact points are electrically connected to a terminal contact.

Abstract: Connecting arrangement for the detachable connection of two components having openings aligned toward one another, which includes a bolt having a shoulder part, and a locking part attached to an end of the bolt. A leaf-spring arrangement is adapted to engage the locking part when the bolt is pressed into the bush to a locking position, and a releasing part is movably coupled to the bolt between the shoulder part and the locking part. A vibration-damping ring includes of elastic material having an opening to receive the bush and a peripheral groove arranged concentrically to a ring axis adapted to receive an edge of the opening of the second component. The vibration-damping ring is adapted for coupling to the first component, and the leaf-spring arrangement is coupled to the vibration-damping ring. A stop is located on a side of the vibration-damping ring to be turned away from the components.

Abstract: The detector materials (8, 9) of a low energy detector (5) and a high energy detector (6) are coordinated with one another to permit better separation of lower and higher energy fractions of polychromatic X-ray (X′) radiation, and consequently, create a better determination of a material of an object through which the X-rays are passed. Abstract: A coupling mechanism, in particular for connecting a belt tensioner drive with a belt spool of a belt retractor for a vehicle safety belt, comprises a driving part, an intermediate part, a driven part, a form-fitting coupling and a force-fitting coupling. The form-fitting coupling and the force-fitting coupling are connected in series. The coupling mechanism has an initial state in which the form-fitting coupling is engaged and the force-fitting coupling is disengaged.

Abstract: An exoprosthesis/orthosis for the human knee-joint comprised of an upper leg part (1) which can be connected to the human upper leg, and a lower leg part (2) which can be connected to the human lower leg. Both leg parts (1, 2) are connected at least via a joint which constructs a joint with two joint axes (MU, M0), i.e. a so-called dimeric joint chain, which are connected such that they carry out a forced movement. A polode (movement or rest polode) is assigned to each respective leg part (1, 2) with regard to the momentary joint axis of said leg parts, whereby curved teeth (5, 7) are constructed on the upper leg part (1) and on the lower leg part (2). The teeth interact similar to sprocket gearing in the movement functional area of the joint (3), whereby the curved teeth coincide with the polodes (t, f) of both leg parts (1, 2) in the movement functional area.

Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle steering wheel including a steering wheel hub which has an axial direction and a steering wheel rim which has an inner and an outer face and is provided with a foam casing. The steering wheel further includes at least one spoke connecting the steering wheel hub with the steering wheel rim, and an insert which is visible from the exterior on at least one of the inner face facing the steering wheel hub and the outer face facing away therefrom. The insert is a surrounding ring which has first segment sections on a periphery of the steering wheel rim and which are visible from the exterior. The insert further has second segment sections alternating with the first sections. The second sections are not visible from the exterior and are embedded in the foam casing.

Abstract: The invention relates to a gas bag module, comprising a module cover which has at least one opening flap movable upon activation of the module. An axis is provided relative to which the opening flap moves when it is opened, and a tether is provided between the at least one opening flap and a part of the gas bag module. In an open condition of the module cover the opening flap is fixed on the one hand to the module by means of the tether and on the other hand is fixed to the module cover via the axis. The axis and the tether are arranged with respect to the opening flap in such a manner and the opening flap has such a strength that its geometry is changed by the tether when it is swivelled open so that the opening flap moves outwardly by a smaller amount than without the tether.

Abstract: A probe for a circuit board tester as well as to an adapter and a circuit board tester. The probe comprises a needle and a sleeve, the needle being shiflingly guided in the sleeve and the needle protruding at least 10 mm from the sleeve, more particularly more than 20 mm. In one embodiment, the needle is conically tapered to a contact tip at least in a portion protruding from the sleeve. With the probe in accordance with the invention, adapters for circuit boards can be produced comprising contacts in high-density, the probes simultaneously acting resiliently.

Abstract: For arc welding a sleeve 3 to a workpiece surface 2, a sleeve holder 1 is surrounded by a field-former unit which contains a magnet coil 4, a magnetic flux return member 6 and a field former 7. A magnetic field is generated with a field component extending radially to the sleeve 3 within the welding gap to set the arc in rotation. To ensure a constant magnetic flux, the field-former unit, in particular its magnet coil 4, is cooled by a temperature-controlled cooling medium circulated through the welding head.

Abstract: The invention relates to a printed circuit board tester, more particularly for testing large-area non-componented circuit boards, comprising a grid pattern provided with contact points arranged in a predetermined pattern, several contact points in each case being electrically connected to a straight-line scanning channel and an adapter and/or a translator being mounted of said grid pattern, an electronic analyzer electrically connected to said contact points via said scanning channels, a circuit board to be tested to which said adapter and/or said translator may be applied such that said adapter and/or translator produces an electrical contact of said circuit board test points on said circuit board to said contact points of said grid pattern, and a means for electrically connecting at least two scanning channels.

Abstract: A torque-transmitting apparatus, particularly for motor vehicles, with a fluid coupling or a hydrodynamic torque converter and a damping system has an improved design providing the advantages of stress-free mounting of the damper, technical and cost improvements in the manufacture of the apparatus, modular assembly, capability to transmit large torque and attenuate rotational perturbations over a wide RPM range so as to minimize wear to prolong the useful life of the entire unit.
