Abstract: A personal wireless navigation system operable on wireless phone devices provides a platform for empowering a merchant-paid search. Performance of a navigation functionality in a personal wireless navigation system is higher and more comparable and competitive with portable navigation devices and in-car navigation systems, and the search capability is comparable and competitive with the most popular web search engines. A user interface (UI) and look and feel of the personal wireless navigation system is provided which is enhanced so that users do not simply want to use the product—they covet it. The personal wireless navigation system may be constructed such that a subset of it with fewer features and functions can be productized, marketed and deployed to users.

A wireless communication device is included and is in communication with both the controller and memory device for receiving data through a wireless connection that is utilized by one of the controller and the at least one memory device for generating information indicative of vehicle operating parameters.
Abstract: The present solution is directed towards systems and methods to more efficiently control a flow of a data stream traversing at least one intermediary on a network between a client and a server. A sender transmits a first message, comprising a first value of a bandwidth between the first intermediary and a second intermediary determined by the sender, to a first intermediary. The first intermediary establishes a next value of the bandwidth between the first intermediary and the second intermediary. The sender receives from the first intermediary responsive to the first message a second message comprising the established next value of the bandwidth between the first intermediary and the second intermediary. A data transfer manager of the sender, responsive to the second message determines a size of a portion of data queued for transmission to transmit to the first intermediary and a time for transmitting the portion of data queued.
Abstract: A fast-response high-order low-pass filter circuit is provided. The circuit includes a plurality of low pass filter (LPF) poles that are connected in series, a forward bypass channel that includes a first delta voltage module that conducts at a first predetermined voltage and a first impedance module that provides a first impedance and is in series with the first delta voltage module, and a reverse bypass channel that includes a second delta voltage module that conducts at a second predetermined voltage and a second impedance module that provides a second impedance and is in series with the second delta voltage module. The forward and reverse bypass channels are arranged to bypass current around at least one of the plurality of LPF poles when a voltage difference across the at least one of the plurality of LPF poles exceeds one of the first predetermined voltage and the second predetermined voltage.
Abstract: A method for continuously estimating reverberation decay comprising receiving a sequence of audio data samples. Determining whether a plateau is present in the sequence of audio data samples. Generating one or more reverberation parameters from the sequence of audio data samples if it is determined that the plateau is present.

Abstract: The slew rate of a transistor is controlled. Upon a transition of a MOSFET control signal, an operating voltage of the MOSFET is measured and a determination of whether the voltage is between a predetermined set of values is made. Based upon the determination, a counter is incremented, and the count of the counter corresponding slew rate. The turn-on current of the MOSFET is controlled based upon the count.
Abstract: Various techniques are provided for systems and methods to process images to reduce consumption of an available output dynamic range by the sky in images. For example, according to one or more embodiments of the disclosure, a region or area in images that may correspond to the sky may be identified based on the location of the horizon in the images. A distribution of irradiance levels in the identified sky region may be analyzed to determine a dynamic range attributable to the sky region. A transfer function that compresses the dynamic range attributable to the sky region may be generated and applied so that the sky in the images may be suppressed, thereby advantageously preserving more dynamic range for terrestrial objects and other objects of interest in the images.

Abstract: A system for processing packets includes a communications interface and a processor. A communications interface receives a packet between a source and a destination. The processor identifies a flow between the source and the destination based on the packet. The processor determines whether some of packet data of the packet matches to storage data in storage using hashes. The processor then stores the packet data in a block of memory in the storage based on the flow and if the packet data does not match the storage data.
