  • Patent number: 11869638
Abstract: A patient monitoring system helps staff personnel, clinicians and physicians who are making their rounds of patients quickly and accurately enter their reports of patient observations. The patient monitoring system has a monitoring device carried by the staff personnel as they make their rounds which wirelessly communicates with a central server. The monitoring device is populated with patient profile information saved within a centralized server when the monitoring device is in operative communication with the central server and allows the rounding personnel to report their observations back to the server. The monitoring device can also scan a code from a proximity device attached to the patient. The patient information and reported observations are stored by the server in a patient database and are not stored by the monitoring device or by the proximity device which reduces the risk that the patient information will be lost, stolen, or otherwise compromised.

  • Patent number: 11869204
Abstract: Image pair co-registration systems and methods include receiving a pair of multi-modal images, defining a parametric deformation model, defining a loss function that is minimized when the pair of images are aligned, and performing a multi-scale search to determine deformation parameters that minimize the loss function. The optimized deformation parameters define an alignment of the pair of images. The pair of images may include visible spectrum image and an infrared image. The method further includes resizing the visible spectrum image to match the infrared image, applying at least one lens distortion correction model, and normalizing a dynamic range of each of the pair of images. The multi-scale search may further include resizing the pair of images to a current processing scale, applying adaptive histogram equalization to the pair of images to generate equalized images, applying Gaussian Blur to the equalized images, and optimizing the deformation parameters.

  • Patent number: 11868695
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure address systems and methods for driver resizing using a transition-based capacitance increase margin. An integrated circuit (IC) design stored in a database in memory is accessed. The IC design comprises a net comprising a set of driver cells. A capacitance increase margin for resizing an initial driver cell is determined based on a total capacitance of the net and transition time target associated with the initial driver cell. An alternative driver cell is selected from a library to resize the initial driver cell and is used to replace the initial driver cell in the net. The alternative driver is selected such that a pin capacitance of the alternative driver cell exceeds an initial pin capacitance corresponding to the initial driver cell by no more than the capacitance increase margin.

  • Patent number: 11868469
Abstract: A microprocessor that mitigates side channel attacks includes a front end that processes instructions in program order and a back end that performs speculative execution of instructions out of program order in a superscalar fashion. Producing execution units produce architectural register results during execution of instructions. Consuming execution units consume the produced architectural register results during execution of instructions. The producing and consuming execution units may be the same or different execution units. Control logic detects that, during execution by a producing execution unit, an architectural register result producing instruction causes a need for an architectural exception and consequent flush of all instructions younger in program order than the producing instruction and prevents all instructions within the back end that are dependent upon the producing instruction from consuming the architectural register result produced by the producing instruction.

  • Patent number: 11865696
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a multi-tiered computing environment for balancing compute resources in support of robot operations. In an example, a robot is tasked with performing an operation associated with an airplane having an airplane model. To do so, the robot may need another operation that is computationally complex to be performed. An on-premises server can execute a process that corresponds to this computationally-complex operation based on sensor data of the robot and can output the resulting data to the robot. Next, the robot can use the resulting data to execute another process corresponding to its operation and can indicate performance of this operation to the on-premises network. The on-premises network can send the indication about the operation performance to a top-tier server that is also associated with the airplane model.

  • Patent number: 11866772
Abstract: Techniques are provided for determining settings of a dPCR experiment for the detection of a chromosomal aneuploidy in a plasma sample from a female pregnant with a fetus. Data about the sample, the dPCR process, and a desired accuracy can be used to determine the settings. Such settings can include a minimal input number of control chromosome molecules for the dPCR experiment, a minimal number of control chromosome molecules for a pre-amplification procedure, and a number of PCR cycles in the pre-amplification procedure. These settings can be used to satisfy the accuracy specified by the accuracy data. Thus, the dPCR experiment can be designed to achieve the desired accuracy while reducing cost, e.g., by not using more of a sample than needed and not performing more pre-amplification than needed or performing more manipulations than needed.
