Abstract: The disclosure presents systems and methods for processing a specimen slide using a specimen processing system. Specimen slides may sequentially be ejected from a slide carrier towards a label reader to determine an appropriate processing protocol for the slides. A cracking element may be engaged with the slide carrier prior to ejecting the slide, in order to break or “crack” any residual adhesive bond between edges of a slide and walls of the carrier. The specimen slides may be horizontally aligned and resting on a corresponding plurality of flat shelves, enabling even spacing via gravitational forces. The slides are therefore evenly spaced, enabling damage-free ejection of slides, and proper positioning for additional operations including scanning, viewing, heating, washing, and other processing.

Abstract: A method for channel prediction for uplink (UL) and downlink (DL) massive Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems for Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) fronthaul Split 7.2 networks enables prediction of a channel that is seen by the UL slot. The pre-processing matrix is computed by the distributed unit (DU) based on this predicted channel and sent to the radio unit (RU) for minimizing the effects of channel aging. A channel corresponding to sounding reference signal (SRS) symbol closest to uplink slot being decoded can be predicted from previous SRS symbols and can be used as a combining matrix. Alternatively, the channel of the uplink slot itself can be predicted from past SRS symbols, and a combining matrix can be generated based on the predicted channel.

Abstract: Pulsatile balloon catheter systems are provided. Aspects of the systems include: a pulse generator; and a balloon catheter assembly operably connected to the pulse generator. In embodiments, the balloon catheter assembly includes: a proximal connector operably connecting the balloon catheter assembly to the pulse generator and configured to transduce a first pulse energy generated by the pulse generator to a second pulse energy; a distal balloon; and a catheter component, where the catheter component includes a fluidic passage operably positioned between the proximal connector and the distal balloon, which passage is configured to propagate the second pulse energy from the proximal connector along the fluid passage to the distal balloon. Also provided are balloon catheter assemblies and kits that include the same. Also provided are systems and methods for assessing vessel compliance in-vivo. Also provided are systems and methods for determining system state of balloon catheter systems.

Abstract: A power stage assembly for improved thermal dissipation and EMC for top-cooled semiconductor power switching devices, e.g. high voltage, high current lateral GaN power transistors in embedded die packages. The power switching devices are mounted on a PCB substrate, with electrical connections between a bottom side of each device package and the PCB. Each device package has a thermal pad on the top-side. A heat-spreader is secured in thermal contact with the thermal pads of each device, and a heatsink is in thermal contact with the heat-spreader. The heat-spreader is a multilayer structure comprising: a thermally conductive metal substrate layer in contact with the heatsink; a conductive layer providing an EMC layer which is connected to power ground; a conductive layer defining large area thermal pads in thermal contact with thermal pads of each die; and dielectric material electrically isolating conductive layers of the heat-spreader.
Abstract: Balloon based therapy devices for treatment of diseased vessels with particular applicability to veins are described. The devices are adapted for active aspiration of a closure zone, in particular aspects to an isolated closure zone, prior to delivery of a closure agent. The devices may be used for treatment of diseased veins in the lower limbs and pelvis. The devices may also include mechanical abrasion elements adapted to engage with a vessel wall, such as along a treatment zone.

Abstract: A system is provided that determines reserve inventory units required for each promotional campaign. Based on one of input parameters to meet defined parameters for defined amount of inventory units for one or more specified durations until end of a specified upcoming time-frame, inventory units are allocated from defined amount of inventory units among each inventory utilization type. Incremental value of revenue from each inventory utilization type is optimized and ratings for previously allocated inventory units assigned to a promotion inventory utilization type is increased. Previously allocated inventory units are periodically adjusted and re-distributed among each inventory utilization type based on difference in demand value of an estimated inventory units forecasted for upcoming specified duration and actual value of the inventory units for current duration. Based on remaining inventory units and each inventory utilization type, schedule of a channel is communicated to a user device, via a network.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a modular bi-level storage and transport assembly (MTA) includes an upper rigid layer and a lower rigid layer and an adjustable support mechanism, coupled to the upper and lower rigid layers. Abstract: In a method a compiler performs a trial compilation to a low level (LL) intermediate representation (IR) of a high level (HL) decision to execute a dataflow application on a computing system. The LLIR comprises hardware resources to execute the application based on the HL decision and the compiler determines a trial result based on LL execution metrics associated with the trail compilation. The compiler performs a trial compilation of a second HL decision to a second LLIR and determines a trial result based on LL execution metrics associated with the second trail compilation. The compiler evaluates the trial results and, based on the evaluations, selects one or both of the HL decisions for executing the dataflow application. A computer program product and a computing system can implement the method.

The remote sensing device includes an enclosure that houses a smartphone processor, a smartphone memory, a sensor module, a separate microcontroller, and a wireless communication module. The smartphone processor, smartphone memory, sensor module and wireless communications module are managed by the smartphone operating system. The separate microcontroller includes a power management module. A battery is electrically coupled to the microcontroller. The battery powers the smartphone processor, the smartphone memory, and the sensor module. The wireless communication module is communicatively coupled to a wide area network. The wireless communication module receives an over-the-air (OTA) update for a device driver associated with the sensor module.
