Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for managing potential conflicts between entities operating within a three-dimensional volume of navigable space, such as different aircraft operating within navigable airspace. One method involves obtaining usage information associated with a first entity, mapping the usage information to one or more partitions in a partitioned domain corresponding to the volume of navigable space that encompass an operating region for the first entity, and updating registered usage data associated with the one or more partitions to maintain an association between the one or more partitions and the first entity. The method detects a concurrent usage conflict associated with a first partition after updating the registered usage data based at least in part on a second association between the first partition and a second entity, and in response to detecting the concurrent usage conflict, updates conflict data to include an indication of the concurrent usage conflict.

Abstract: An illustrative data storage management system protects data in a replicated multi-node system (“cluster”). The illustrative system creates a new administrative entity (“pseudo-client”) that represents the cluster within the system. The system intelligently performs as an adaptive “set it and forget it” system. Preferences for the pseudo-client, including alternate rules that cover various contingencies in the cluster, need not be reset as the cluster undergoes node failures and/or role changes over time. Rather, the disclosed system adapts, on each successive secondary copy job, to the current configuration of the cluster without requiring a system administrator to provide further input or analysis. This approach ensures that jobs can begin promptly as scheduled or on demand. Component selection is based at least in part on geography/zone and/or network topology considerations, which improves the likelihood of job completion and success, and RPO/RTO service levels are more likely to be met.

Abstract: A carrier configured to support multiple panels includes a housing having a pair of opposing sidewalls extending in a first direction and a plurality of trays stacked between the pair of opposing sidewalls in the first direction. A lid is slidably coupled to the pair of opposing sidewalls and configured to be slid on the housing between an open configuration and a closed configuration. The plurality of trays are supported in the housing such that, in the closed configuration of the lid, two trays of the plurality of trays are blocked from moving relative to one another in the first direction, and in the open configuration of the lid, the two trays are configured to be moved relative to one another in the first direction.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automated unmanned aerial vehicle recognition. A multiplicity of receivers captures RF data and transmits the RF data to at least one node device. The at least one node device comprises a signal processing engine, a detection engine, a classification engine, and a direction finding engine. The at least one node device is configured with an artificial intelligence algorithm. The detection engine and classification engine are trained to detect and classify signals from unmanned vehicles and their controllers based on processed data from the signal processing engine. The direction finding engine is operable to provide lines of bearing for detected unmanned vehicles.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques for automating media agent state management. For example, if a media agent is running poorly, then the media agent can be disabled and an alternate media agent can perform secondary copy job operations in place of the poorly running media agent. To determine whether a media agent is running poorly, a storage manager can determine whether the media agent has an anomalous number of failed jobs, pending jobs, and/or long running jobs and/or can determine whether the amount of resources used by the media agent is high or is increasing constantly, at a constant rate, or at a near constant rate.

Abstract: An example control device includes memory storing a first thermal model of a building and a second thermal model of the building, and a processor connected to the memory. The processor is configured to select the first thermal model or the second thermal model as a selected thermal model, and execute model predictive control (MPC) using the selected thermal model to control a heating, cooling, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) apparatus at the building.

Abstract: An umbilical arterial catherization device comprising a brace and a dilator. The brace has a body for supporting and stabilizing an umbilical cord end. The body may have resilient foam for grasping the umbilical cord, and may include a strap operable to secure part of the body to itself, after being wrapped around the umbilical cord. The dilator has a hook for engaging an open end of an arterial lumen, and a catch operable to fix the dilator to the brace in a position for dilating the arterial lumen. Both hands may be used to place the dilator while the device serves to stabilize and support the umbilical cord without use of the hands. The device may include a lighting element for illuminating the end of the umbilical cord to aid in visualization of the arterial lumen and facilitate proper placement of the catch within the arterial lumen.

Abstract: The present inventors devised techniques and technologies that streamline the protection of data stored on shared file storage e.g., on file servers, network-attached storage (NAS), share drives, network shares, etc., in a data storage management system. Some embodiments feature a proxy-less backup configuration in which backup services hosts are assigned to perform a secondary copy job, at job runtime, based on host attributes relative to the data source. Some embodiments are configured to, at job runtime, automatically resolve data paths to the source data, and automatically mount the data paths, rather than requiring data paths to be expressly pre-administered on all possible candidate backup machines. Some embodiments automatically protect data from shared file storage that was not expressly given a backup plan (“undefined” data) by applying default preferences for protecting undefined data.

Users associated with a customer of a content management system, e.g., a pharmaceutical company, may send emails to a master email address, or email processor username, specifically created for an email processor in the content management system. The email processor may automatically create documents, records and attachments from the emails.

Abstract: A networking device can include a packet processing pipeline circuit and a processor. The packet processing pipeline circuit can be configured to implement a data plane and the processor can be configured to implement a control plane. The packet processing pipeline circuit and the processor can also be configured to send a plurality of heartbeat packets on multiple paths to a second networking device. The data plane can produce and send the heartbeat packets to the second networking device within a heartbeat period. The data plane may send a second plurality of heartbeat packets on multiple paths to the second networking device with a second heartbeat period. The heartbeat packets can have unique packet five tuples that include an IP address of the second networking device.

The system is operable to monitor the electromagnetic environment, analyze the electromagnetic environment, and extract environmental awareness of the electromagnetic environment. The system extracts the environmental awareness of the electromagnetic environment by including customer goals. The system is operable to use the environmental awareness with the customer goals and/or user defined policies and rules to extract actionable information to help the customer optimize the network resources.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for automatic signal detection in an RF environment are disclosed. A sensor device in a nodal network comprises at least one RF receiver, a generator engine, and an analyzer engine. The at least one RF receiver measures power levels in the RF environment and generates FFT data based on power level data. The generator engine calculates a power distribution by frequency of the RF environment in real time or near real time, including a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data. The analyzer engine creates a baseline based on statistical calculations of the power levels measured in the RF environment for a predetermined period of time, and identifies at least one signal based on the first derivative and the second derivative of the FFT data in at least one conflict situation from comparing live power distribution to the baseline of the RF environment.
