  • Patent number: 10105064
Abstract: An intravascular sensor delivery device for measuring a physiological parameter of a patient, such as blood pressure, within a vascular structure or passage. In some embodiments, the device can be used to measure the pressure gradient across a stenotic lesion or heart valve. For example, such a device may be used to measure fractional flow reserve (FFR) across a stenotic lesion in order to assess the severity of the lesion. The sensor delivery device has a distal sleeve configured to pass or slide over a standard medical guidewire. Some distance back from the sensor and distal sleeve, the device separates from the guidewire to permit independent control of the sensor delivery device and the guidewire. The sensor delivery device can be sized to pass over different sizes of guidewires to enable usage in coronary and peripheral arteries, for example.

  • Patent number: 10109105
Abstract: A method for performing Boolean operations using a computer to create geometric models from primary geometric objects and their facets, comprises mapping rendering facets to extended triangles that contain neighbors, building intersection lines, splitting each triangle through which an intersection line passes, determining each triangle is obscure or visible, and regrouping the triangles to form one or more geometric objects. This method does not utilize the most popular data structures CSG and B-REP in CAD/CG/Solid Modeling systems, but has the advantages of both CSG and B-REP: easy to implement and so flexible that it can handle concave and convex geometric shapes, swept and extruded geometric objects, and it is able to generate variant and editable models.

  • Patent number: 10108652
Abstract: A data storage system protects virtual machines using block-level backup operations and restores the data at a file level. The system accesses the virtual machine file information from the file allocation table of the host system underlying the virtualization layer. A file index associates this virtual machine file information with the related protected blocks in a secondary storage device during the block-level backup. Using the file index, the system can identify the specific blocks in the secondary storage device associated with a selected restore file. As a result, file level granularity for restore operations is possible for virtual machine data protected by block-level backup operations without restoring more than the selected file blocks from the block-level backup data.

  • Patent number: 10108204
Abstract: Embodiments include a modular fuel pump apparatus for an aircraft refueling chassis and related devices, systems and methods. In one exemplary embodiment, a pump module includes a hydraulic motor driven by a hydraulic pump connected to a chassis motor. A chassis engine is operated at a substantially constant RPM, which causes the hydraulic pump to output hydraulic fluid to the pump module at a substantially constant hydraulic pressure. The speed of the hydraulic motor can be varied by a proportional flow control valve disposed between the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor, thereby varying the speed of the fuel pump and the flow rate of the fuel. A controller is configured to operate the pressure control valve such that the flow of the fuel is maintained at a predetermined flow rate.

  • Patent number: 10098405
Abstract: Multi-axis quick-release gimbal hinges that releasably attach a face protector to a helmet. The hinges allow the face protection to be easily and quickly released from the as-worn position to a position hanging from the other side of the helmet—even if the user has only a single hand free to release the face protector, and further to be fully detached from the helmet if desired. The present multi-axis quick-release gimbal comprise at least two degrees of freedom due to two gimbal hinges and also facilitate re-attachment compared to former systems, for example because the dual-gimbal hinge configuration holds the face protector in a particularly easy-access positions and/or by providing a rotational stop.
