  • Patent number: 10069649
Abstract: The disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for performing service tag switching. A device intermediary to a client and a server receives a packet including a virtual network device identifier tag that identifies a list of functions to be performed on the packet. The device tags the packet with a first service tag identifying a first functional entity of the device to which to route the packet. The device routes the packet to the first functional entity to perform a first function. Responsive to the first function being performed, the device selects a subsequent service tag identifying a subsequent functional entity to route the packet. The device tags the packet with the subsequent service tag and routes the packet to the subsequent functional entity. Once the list of functions to be performed on the packet have been performed, the device forwards the packet to its destination.

  • Patent number: 10067946
Abstract: A method, a system, and a computer program product for performing next level multi-level deduplication. A first zone stamp for a first data zone is generated and compared to a second zone stamp representing a second data zone, where the zones are first level data zones. The first and second data zones are deduplicated when the first zone stamp matches the second zone stamp. A second-level first zone stamp is selected when there is no match between first and second zone stamps. The second-level first zone stamp, representing a second-level first data zone in the first data zone, is compared to the second zone stamp and/or a second-level second zone stamp representing a second-level second data zone. The second-level first zone and one of the second data zone and the second-level second zone are deduplicated when the second-level first zone stamp matches one of the second zone stamp and the second-level second zone stamp.

  • Patent number: 10070166
Abstract: Schedule spot counts for allocations of spots are generated based on a selling title and week combination structure for a pending deal for an advertiser, and simulated spot schedules are generated based on schedule spot counts for the advertiser for a quarter. Estimates of unduplicated audience for new spot schedules are generated based on corresponding attributes for each simulated spot schedule and a proposal for the advertiser's deal is generated based on the unduplicated audience estimates. Half-hour assignments within selling title-weeks are generated based on the schedule spot counts, and are randomly sampled over the quarter to generate the simulated spot schedules. The sampling may be constrained to allow one unit from any simulated spot schedule to air in a half-hour assignment on any given network and selection of half-hour assignments for unit placement are constrained to a specified subset of time, and/or a selling category on networks of interest.

  • Patent number: 10069767
Abstract: A method of dynamically allocating buffers involves receiving a packet onto an ingress circuit. The ingress circuit includes a memory that stores a free buffer list, and an allocated buffer list. Packet data of the packet is stored into a buffer. The buffer is associated with a buffer identification (ID). The buffer ID is moved from the free buffer list to the allocated buffer list once the packet data is stored in the buffer. The buffer ID is used to read the packet data from the buffer and into an egress circuit and is stored in a de-allocation buffer list in the egress circuit. A send buffer IDs command is received from a processor onto the egress circuit and instructs the egress circuit to send the buffer ID to the ingress circuit such that the buffer ID is pushed onto the free buffer list.

  • Patent number: 10066724
Abstract: In a strain wave gearing, external teeth of a flexible externally toothed gear are elastically deformable in a direction in which the tooth thickness of the external teeth decreases. Engagement between internal teeth of a first and a second rigid internally toothed gears and the external teeth is set in an overlapping state in which the external teeth elastically deform and engage in a state in which no gap is present. The tooth profile of the internal teeth is a corrected tooth profile so that no interference occurs between a tooth top portion of the internal teeth and a dedendum portion of the external teeth when the teeth are engaged in the overlapping state. A strain wave gearing capable of minimizing or eliminating tooth engagement backlash is realized.

  • Patent number: 10068180
Abstract: Systems and methods for employing macroscopic resonant tunneling operations in quantum processors are described. New modes of use for quantum processor architectures employ probe qubits to determine energy eigenvalues of a problem Hamiltonian through macroscopic resonant tunneling operations. A dedicated probe qubit design that may be added to quantum processor architectures is also described. The dedicated probe qubit enables improved performance of macroscopic resonant tunneling operations and, consequently, improved performance of the new modes of use described.

  • Patent number: 10069331
Abstract: A load shed module configured to be connected in series between a power supply and a load is disclosed. A separate load shed module is connected in series between each load and the power supply. The load shed module determines the frequency of the voltage supplied from the power supply. Based on the frequency, the load shed module determines if utility power is connected or if a generator is connected. If the generator is connected and the frequency of the voltage goes outside of a desired operating range for a preset time, the load shed module disconnects the load from the power supply. Each load shed module includes a priority setting and reconnects its corresponding load after a predetermined time corresponding to the priority setting.

  • Patent number: 10069763
Abstract: A method for establishing a communications path is provided. A routing path between a source port on a source switch and a destination port on a destination switch through intermediate switches is identified. A first message is sent to the source switch, the destination switch and the intermediate switches instructing the recipient switches to prepare for establishing a connection. In response to receiving a first set of acknowledgment messages from the recipient switches, a second message is sent to the destination switch and the intermediate switches instructing these switches to establish a connection to the destination port along the identified routing path. In response to receiving a second set of acknowledgment messages from the destination switch and each of the intermediate switches, a third message is sent to the source switch instructing it to establish a connection between the source port and the established connection to the destination port.
