Abstract: A system that generates a three-dimensional model of a tissue surface, for example the inner surface of the heart from two-dimensional image data slices. On this surface, one or more pattern lines are drawn, e.g., by a physician using a user interface, to designate desired lesion(s) on the surface. From the pattern lines, a three-dimensional volume for a lesion can be determined using known constraints. Advantageously, the series of boundaries generated by the three-dimensional volume may be projected back onto the individual CT scans, which then may be transferred to a standard radiosurgical planning tool. A dose cloud may also be projected on the model to aid in evaluating a plan.

Abstract: In certain arrangements, systems and methods assist in gathering relevant data in a doctor-patient encounter for obtaining a properly specified diagnosis code. In one embodiment, selectable data items which are provided as part of a medical charting program may be correlated with one or more standardized diagnosis codes (e.g. ICD-10 codes). Upon selection of the appropriate data items when charting a patient encounter, one or more diagnosis codes which are correlated with the selected data items may be flagged and/or generated for later use, such as for filing a claim submission as part of a billing process or to further enhance the clinical workflow of patient encounter documentation.

Abstract: Presented systems and methods facilitate efficient and effective generation and delivery of radiation. In one embodiment, an accelerator system includes a particle source, an acceleration portion, a high intensity target, and a target location control component. In one exemplary implementation the change of location of charged particle impact is based on thermal diffusion and said location of charged particle impacts is moved at a rate greater than a rate of diffusion of detrimental heat impacts on the high intensity target.

PCUs have vector pipelines of functional units that perform operations on operands received from previous pipeline stages, another PCU, and/or PMUs. PMUs have memories loadable with the input image. The PCUs and PMUs are statically reconfigurable to, for all the output pixels: apply the matrix to vectors of output pixel coordinates to calculate corresponding vectors of input pixel coordinates, flatten the vectors of input pixel coordinates into vectors of PMU addresses of the input pixels, read values of the input pixels from the PMUs at the calculated input pixel addresses, and write vectors of the input pixel values to PMUs to form the output image.

Abstract: Method and systems for of using a machine-learning model to detect predicted artifacts at a target image resolution are provided. A machine-learning model trained to detect artifact pixels in images at a target image resolution is accessed. An image depicting at least part of the biological sample at an initial image resolution can be converted at the target image resolution. The machine-learning model is applied to the converted image to identify one or more artifact pixels from the converted image. A first PMU writes a copy of the input image into each of the L banks. Each of N of the PCUs associated with the N dimensions is statically reconfigurable to apply a respective row of the transform matrix to N L-vectors of output pixel coordinates to generate a respective L-vector of input pixel coordinates. At least one of the PCUs flattens the N L-vectors of input pixel coordinates to calculate an L-vector of addresses. The first PMU uses the L addresses of the L-vector of addresses to read an L-vector of input pixels from the L banks in parallel.

Abstract: Various enhancements to grid-interactive inverters in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. One embodiment includes input terminals configured to receive a direct current, output terminals configured to provide an alternating output current to the utility grid, a controller, an output current sensor, and a DC-AC inverter stage comprising a plurality of switches controlled by control signals generated by the controller. In addition, the controller is configured to: generate control signals that cause the switches in the DC-AC inverter stage to switch a direct current in a bidirectional manner; measure the alternating output current; perform frequency decomposition of the output current; and generate control signals that cause the switches in the DC-AC inverter stage to switch current in a way that the magnitude of a plurality of unwanted current components is subtracted from the resulting output current.
