  • Patent number: 7765165
Abstract: A flowchart-based tool can be used to build a logical structure. In the context of a customer relationship management (CRM) system, the logical structure can comprise an ordered set of questions and branching logic that are presented to a customer of the business when the customer contacts the business with an inquiry, such as for a sale or service inquiry or other interaction. An engine can run a session associated with the logical structure, with the session presenting questions, text, graphics, and the like dynamically to a user interface. Branching logic determines the appropriate information to present to the user interface based on answers to previous questions.

  • Patent number: 7765369
Abstract: A method and system are provided for selectively deleting data stored to storage media, such as a tape, in a network storage system. An instruction to delete selected data is received and the location of the data selected for deletion is identified. The location of the data is obtained by consulting an index of storage data. The selected data is retrieved, together with any other data on the tape that precedes the selected data. The retrieved data, excluding the selected data, is copied to a tape. The index is updated to reflect the changes in the stored data on the tape.

  • Patent number: 7764197
Abstract: A method and system for synchronization of detection loops in a multilane environment. A plurality of loop sensors are arranged in a plurality of lanes such that loop sensors in adjacent lanes are mutually contiguous. A simultaneous synchronization signal is sent to each of the plurality of loop detector controllers, where each loop detector controller is in communication with a loop sensor. The signal causes a scheduling of sampling periods for each loop sensor, such that the sampling period of each loop sensor does not overlap with that of a contiguous loop in an adjacent lane.

  • Patent number: 7764541
Abstract: One time programmable memory devices are disclosed that are programmed using hot carrier induced degradation to alter one or more transistors characteristics. A one time programmable memory device is comprised of an array of transistors. Transistors in the array are selectively programmed using hot carrier induced changes in one or more transistor characteristics, such as changes to the saturation current, threshold voltage or both, of the transistors. The changes to the transistor characteristics are achieved in a similar manner to known hot carrier transistor aging principles. The disclosed one time programmable memory devices are small and programmable at low voltages and small current.

  • Patent number: 7764961
Abstract: An area event handler informs when a target mobile enters or leaves a network covering a pre-defined target area, and re-aims an original area event request. When the event occurs, the mobile sends a location report to an initiator of the request. A PLMN list with estimated geographic coverage areas is stored in a Home GMLC, and sent to each relevant mobile. When a mobile enters new network coverage, it uses this list for network access selection. When the Home GMLC discovers that the currently visited PLMN does not serve the original target area, it modifies the area event to the that mobile, so that the Home GMLC will be notified when the target mobile once again enters a PLMN that serves the original target area. Then, after being so notified, the Home GMLC re-sends the original area event location service request to the target mobile.

  • Patent number: 7763198
Abstract: A method of securely mounting a stent on a balloon of a balloon catheter. The method generally includes crimping a stent on a balloon of a balloon catheter, and positioning the balloon with the drug delivery stent thereon within a polished bore of a mold formed at least in part of a metallic material. The balloon is pressurized and heated within the mold as the mold radially restrains the stent from expanding. The stent is re-crimped on the balloon after removal from the mold to increase retention of the stent on the balloon.
