  • Patent number: 10775938
Abstract: Touch events can be detected using an ultrasound input device coupled to a surface, such as a surface of a piece of furniture or electronic device. The ultrasound input device can generate ultrasonic waves in the surface, the reflections of which can be measured by the ultrasound input device. When a touch is made to the surface (e.g., opposite the ultrasound input device), the physical contact can absorb some of the energy of the outgoing ultrasonic waves (e.g., the originally transmitted wave and any subsequent outgoing reflections). Energy measurements associated with the measured reflections can thus be used to identify touch events. Various techniques can be used to make the energy measurements and reduce identification of false touch events.

  • Patent number: 10778684
Abstract: Disclosed embodiments provide access to an application. An intermediary device may provide access to an application hosted by the server. The access may be provided to the client via a link that generates a first HTTP request for the application. The device may receive, from the client, the first HTTP request generated via the provided link. The device may rewrite an absolute URL of the application indicated in the first HTTP request, by replacing a first hostname of the server included in the absolute URL, with a URL segment generated by combining a unique string assigned to the first hostname with a second hostname of the device. The device may redirect the client to the rewritten absolute URL of the application.

  • Patent number: 10775960
Abstract: In one embodiment, a technique is utilized to generate a virtual-room of a virtual room-based user interface that controls one or more devices within a physical room of a structure. A user is prompted to select one or more services provided by the one or more devices within the physical room. A plurality of images of the physical room are obtained that each share substantially a same perspective. The plurality of images include an all-off image, in which all of the one or more of the services are in an inactive state, and one or more service-specific images, in which a single service is in an active state and any other services are in the inactive state. The plurality of images are aligned to create an aligned image stack. One or more hit boxes are designated. The virtual room is generated based on the aligned image stack and the designated one or more hit boxes.

  • Publication number: 20200282790
Abstract: An air spring assembly for a vehicle having a damper body which is decoupled from the bellow of a piston, allowing the damper to rotate freely without inducing torsion into the piston. The design includes a two-piece piston having both an inner piston and an outer piston which are connected together, and a portion of the inner piston is positioned over the damper tube. The piston having the two-piece design allows for the two-piece piston to fully decouple from the damper without leakage. The inner piston retains a rotary O-ring which seals to a damper rod to keep air within the air spring assembly. The air spring assembly also includes a thrust bearing located between the inner piston and the top surface of the damper tube. The thrust bearing allows full decoupling from the inner piston and the damper, ensuring that there is no torsion translated to the bellow.
