Publication number: 20200277806Abstract: A cabinet lock secures a door panel to a cabinet frame and includes a latching component and an electromechanical component. The latching component has a latch member reciprocally translatable between a locked orientation to secure the door panel to the cabinet frame and an unlocked orientation to free the door panel from the cabinet frame. The electromechanical component includes an actuator and drive member. Powering the actuator causes the drive member to translate the latch member to the unlocked orientation. A drive member position sensor may emit a signal indicative of the position of the latch member. The electromechanical component may be retrofit-able to a latching component of a pre-existing mechanical cabinet lock.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2020Publication date: September 3, 2020Applicant: Hanchett Entry System, Inc.Inventors: Ryan M. Patent number: 10762036Abstract: A system for archiving data objects using secondary copies is disclosed. The system creates one or more secondary copies of primary copy data that contains multiple data objects. The system maintains a first data structure that tracks the data objects for which the system has created secondary copies and the locations of the secondary copies. To archive data objects in the primary copy data, the system identifies data objects to be archived, verifies that previously-created secondary copies of the identified data objects exist, and replaces the identified data objects with stubs. The system maintains a second data structure that both tracks the stubs and refers to the first data structure, thereby creating an association between the stubs and the locations of the secondary copies.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2017Date of Patent: September 1, 2020Assignee: Commvault Systems, Inc.Inventors: Parag Gokhale, Rajiv Kottomtharayil, Prakash Varadharajan

Patent number: 10759940Abstract: Films with optical transmittance of >80% between 400 and 750 nm and with coefficient of thermal expansion less than 20 ppm/° C. are prepared from aromatic polyamides that are soluble in polar organic solvents yet have glass transition temperatures >300° C. The films are cross-linked in the solid state by heating at elevated temperatures for short periods of time in the presence of multifunctional epoxides. Surprisingly, the optical and thermal properties of the films do not change significantly during the curing process. The temperature required for the crosslinking process to take place can be reduced by the presence of a few free, pendant carboxyl groups along the polyamide backbones. The films are useful as flexible substrates for electronic displays and photovoltaic devices.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2017Date of Patent: September 1, 2020Assignee: Akon Polymer Systems, Inc.Inventors: Limin Sun, Dong Zhang, Frank W.
