  • Patent number: 9571456
Abstract: The present disclosure provides solutions that may enable an enterprise providing services to a number of clients to determine whether to establish a client based SSL VPN session or a clientless SSL VPN session with a client based on an information associated with the client. An intermediary establishing SSL VPN sessions between clients and servers may receive a request from a client to access a server. The intermediary may identify a session policy based on the request. The session policy may indicate whether to establish a client based SSL VPN session or clientless SSL VPN session with the server. The intermediary may determine, responsive to the policy, to establish a clientless or client based SSL VPN session between the client and the server.

  • Patent number: 9568418
Abstract: Spectroscopic chemical analysis methods and apparatus are disclosed which employ deep ultraviolet (e.g. in the 200 nm to 300 nm spectral range) electron beam pumped wide bandgap semiconductor lasers, incoherent wide bandgap semiconductor light emitting devices, and hollow cathode metal ion lasers to perform non-contact, non-invasive detection of unknown chemical analytes. These deep ultraviolet sources enable dramatic size, weight and power consumption reductions of chemical analysis instruments. In some embodiments, Raman spectroscopic detection methods and apparatus use ultra-narrow-band angle tuning filters, acousto-optic tuning filters, and temperature tuned filters to enable ultra-miniature analyzers for chemical identification. In some embodiments Raman analysis is conducted along with photoluminescence spectroscopy (i.e. fluorescence and/or phosphorescence spectroscopy) to provide high levels of sensitivity and specificity in the same instrument.

  • Patent number: 9566896
Abstract: An instrument cluster system for a vehicle includes a speedometer gauge having markings indicative of speeds of the vehicle, a pointer, and a speed warning indicator including adjacent lights arranged in position to correlate with the markings. A control unit receives inputs including a speed of the vehicle. GPS provides a location of the vehicle so that the control unit can obtain a posted speed limit of a road on which the vehicle is located. The control unit sends processed data to the cluster so that the cluster can control the lights based on the posted speed limit, such that lights correlating with speeds below the posted speed limit can be illuminated green and lights correlating with speeds above the posted speed limit can be illuminated red, thereby providing a visual warning to a driver as to whether the vehicle is operating above or below the posted speed limit.

  • Patent number: 9571423
Abstract: A management application can automatically coordinate the decommissioning of ports in a switch, ensuring that ports are gracefully taken out of service without unnecessary interruption of service and triggering of automatic recovery functionality that may occur during manual decommissioning of ports. Embodiments may provide for decommissioning of F_ports only, E_ports only, or both F_ports and E_ports. Where link aggregation is provided for in the fabric, decommissioning of a port in a link aggregation group may be performed if there are other operational links in the group. Decommissioning of a non-aggregated port (or the last operational port in a link aggregation group) may be performed if there is a redundant path available.
