Abstract: An apparatus for regulating lubricant having a carrier housing including a lubricant sump. A ring gear disposed within the carrier housing, wherein the ring gear is partially disposed in the lubricant sump. A lubricant catch is disposed in the carrier housing, and a reservoir is disposed outside of the carrier housing. A first conduit is disposed between the lubricant catch and the reservoir. A second conduit is disposed between the reservoir and the lubricant sump. A valve is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the lubricant sump.
Abstract: Techniques including controlling coupling and uncoupling of RF ports included in an RF switch matrix including first-side RF ports and second-side RF ports, where each of the first-side RF ports is configured to be selectively coupled to at least one of two or more of the second-side RF ports, identifying one or more of the second-side RF ports as active ports including an active port, causing the RF switch matrix to couple the active port to a signal port included in the first-side RF ports, obtaining at least one of a bit error rate and a signal to noise ratio for a demodulation of an RF stream received via the active port, and causing, in response to at least one of the bit error rate or the signal to noise ratio, the RF switch matrix to couple the signal port to a spare port included in the second-side RF ports.
Abstract: Electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding structures for use inside an electronic system are provided, which allow access for mold compound or cables by using baffle-like features on the shield's sides and/or top, as well as methods for shielding components from EMI, or for containing EMI. The structures block external RF from sensitive components and reduce EMI emission from internal, RF generating components.

Abstract: When detecting a maladjusted brake component on a commercial vehicle, wheel end temperature is determined as a function of resistance measured by a wheel speed sensor at a wheel end. The measured temperature is compared to low and high temperature thresholds defined by a thermal model, as well as to one or more other wheel speed sensor temperatures. If the measured temperature is below the low temperature threshold and substantially different than the one or more other wheel speed sensors, the brake is determined to be under-adjusted and brake force at the under-adjusted brake is increased. If the measured temperature is above the high temperature threshold and substantially different than the one or more other wheel speed sensors, then the brake is determined to be over-adjusted, and brake force is reduced or modulated at the over-adjusted brake to prevent overheating.

Abstract: A computer system for displaying spherical video images is described. The computer system includes a user computing device including a display device and a processor coupled to the display device. The processor programmed to receive video image data from an imaging device. The video image data includes 2D circular video images. The processor determines the FOV dimensions associated with the imaging device as a function of the video image data and generates a 3D spherical wireframe object on the display device having a surface area determined as a function of the FOV dimensions associated with the imaging device. The processor maps the video image data onto the 3D spherical wireframe object and renders a 3D video image object on the display device including the video image data being displayed on the 3D spherical wireframe object.
Abstract: What is disclosed is network management software which displays a widget for tracking a particular characteristic of a network. The widget title bar contains a first and second indicator. The first indicator represents the severity of the most severe alert for the particular characteristic being tracked by the widget. Abstract: A compression indentation fastener device is described comprising a shank and a head. The head extends outwardly from an end of the shank in a transverse plane to define a head periphery. The head has an anterior side and a posterior side. The anterior side includes an exposed area extending between the shank and the head periphery. The anterior side includes a relief portion in the form of a depression. The relief portion is open at the anterior side of the head such that the relief portion receives a volume of substrate material when the exposed area of the head impacts the substrate material. The head may be integral with the shank or the head may be comprised of discrete head portions that mate with one another. Additionally, the head may be centered on the end of the shank or offset relative to the shank.

Abstract: Systems and methods using an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) to obtain data capture at a cell site for developing a three dimensional (3D) thereof include causing the UAV to fly a given flight path about a cell tower at the cell site; obtaining data capture during the flight path about the cell tower, wherein the data capture includes a plurality of photos or video subject to a plurality of constraints, wherein the plurality of photos are obtained by a plurality of cameras which are coordinated with one another; and subsequent to the obtaining, processing the data capture to define a three dimensional (3D) model of the cell site based on one or more objects of interest in the data capture.
Abstract: The present invention is generally a system and method for automatically actuating or controlling a movable barrier in response to a travel-limit displacement of the movable barrier, and more specifically, a movable barrier operator system configured to respond automatically to a travel-limit displacement, or change in position of a barrier's travel limit, in order to return the movable barrier to its intended position. In an exemplary embodiment, an operator may receive from one or more sensors adapted to detect any change in the travel limit position, a signal detecting a change in barrier position. In response to this signal, the operator may generate a command in order to counter-act, or push-back, the undesired movement of the barrier. In some applications, the invention provides a measure of security. In other applications, the invention provides a measure of efficiency and overall stability of a movable barrier system.
Abstract: A method and system for automatically bypassing a network proxy in the presence of interdependent traffic flows. Messages from a client attempting to establish communication with an origin server are monitored to detect the presence of certain state information. If the origin server is present in one or more bypass lists, the network proxy is bypassed and communication is established between the client and origin sever directly. Otherwise, communication between the client and origin server is established though the network proxy. Messages between at least the origin server and client are monitored in order to identify origin servers for which the network proxy should be bypassed. The bypass lists are automatically updated for such origin servers.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a networked system includes network interface ports to couple to a computer data network, PCIe devices, bridge devices coupled to network interface ports, a PCIe network switch coupled between bridge devices and PCIe devices, and a configuration device communicatively coupled to bridge devices and PCIe devices. Configuration device configures and initializes the PCIe devices for commands and operations that originate from the bridge devices.
Abstract: A method, computer program, and system for monitoring a person in a structure having a first room and a second room. The system includes motion sensors and accelerometers to determine states and activities within the states, respectively. No visual images of any type are used to monitor the person. The person does not need to wear any type of equipment or component or necklace or bracelet or special clothing with any type of equipment or component in order to be monitored by the system.
