Abstract: An improved device is disclosed for holding down textile the material on the platen of the digital printer. The device includes a textile gripping material formed to define a border band on the periphery of the platen. The border material has a structure that engages/grips the textile and hold the textile in place. In operation, the textile is laid onto the platen surface and the edges are pulled taut to align the textile and remove wrinkles and the textile is next pressed onto the border material to be engaged by the border material. The border material grips and holds the textile in position, to provide a smooth textile surface on which the ink jets are applied. After the printing operation, the textile is lifted off of the border material and removed from the platen.
Abstract: An automated at-the-pump method manages vehicle fuel purchases at a fuel station. The method includes transmitting driver identification data to a mobile device assigned to a vehicle driver. The driver identification data is electronically verified to confirm that the driver identification data received by the mobile device matches the assigned vehicle driver. Vehicle data is transmitted from a data bus of the vehicle to the mobile device for storage in the memory. The vehicle data and driver identification data are transmitted to a remote terminal. Using the remote terminal, the vehicle data and driver identification data are electronically authenticated. An authorization signal is then transmitted from the remote terminal to an at-the-pump fuel control terminal.
Abstract: A valve assembly and method for rotating a valve assembly including a valve element disposed in a flow path and configured to rotate between an opened position and a closed position, wherein the valve element closes the flow path. A mechanical linkage is connected to the valve element where forces are transferred through the mechanical linkage to rotate the valve element to an open position.
Abstract: A method for using a filtration system is provided. The filtration system can include a container, an inner cup, and a filter pad. The filtration system can be configured to remove undesirable impurities from liquid. For example, the filtration system can be configured to remove total polar molecules and lovibond color red from used cooking oil.
Abstract: A power management device and microprocessor within a System-in-Package (SiP) are provided with communication signals externally available as outputs from the SiP so that they can be configured by an external device. Abstract: A controller for a parking brake system for a commercial vehicle is disclosed. The controller receives a signal indicative of a request to park a tractor, a signal indicative of a request to supply air to a trailer and a signal indicative of a vehicle operating condition. The controller transmits a control signal to a tractor parking brake device and a trailer air supply device in order to park the tractor and maintain the air supply to the trailer to suspend the parking of the trailer in response to the signals.

Abstract: A collapsible desk system is provided. The desk system may include first and second elongate members having a common central pivot and being pivotal relative to one another in a scissor-like manner. Abstract: A system and computer implemented method for optimizing network topology in a network comprises a memory unit to store a set of program modules and a processor to execute the set of program modules. A connection detection module is configured to identify a set of network endpoints connected to a network host via Ethernet connections. Further, an input module identifies at least one datagram among the plurality of datagrams received from the network endpoints. The at least one datagram is received from at least one network interface among the plurality of network interfaces. The input module classifies the at least one network interface into at least one of a compute node and a storage node. Abstract: A device for controlling a directional motion indicator includes a motion detector transmitting a directional motion signal based on a movement and a direction of the movement of the motion detector. A controller includes a controller input port receiving the directional motion signal. The controller determines a backward movement of the motion detector based on the directional motion signal. The controller transmits a motion indicator signal, via a controller output port, based on the determined backward movement of the motion detector.
