  • Patent number: 11974186
Abstract: The identification of a user device as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may cause the wireless communication network to implement certain operations. A determination may be made based on one or more behavior characteristics of a user device as to whether the user device is an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) instead of an airborne user device carried in a manned aircraft as the user device communicates with a wireless communication network via one or more base stations. In response to determining that the user device is the UAV instead of the airborne user device carried in the manned aircraft, a base station handover threshold for the UAV may be modified to prolong a communication duration of the UAV with a base station when a decrease in signal strength or an increase in signal interference of a signal provided by the base station occurs.

  • Patent number: 11974129
Abstract: A token-based security risk assessment service for multi-factor authentication (MFA) is described. An enterprise may utilize the security risk assessment service, and a telecommunication service provider may provide the security risk assessment service as a network-based service. The security risk assessment service may be configured to monitor identifiers (IDs) of elements associated with users associated with an enterprise to determine if any have changed. Any changes may be factored into an adjustment to the user's security profile. Furthermore, the enterprise can utilize the security risk assessment service to implement a token-based MFA scheme where Short Message Service (SMS) is used as an authentication factor.

  • Patent number: 11973548
Abstract: The disclosed system adjusts performance of a network. The system obtains a configuration and historical performance of the network. Based on the historical performance, the system identifies a time window and a location associated with the network. Based on the configuration and the historical performance, the system identifies a parameter associated with the network, parameter adjustment, success criterion, failure criterion, and deployment duration. Based on the time window, the location, and the deployment duration, the system determines a testing time window within the time window, where the testing time window satisfies a density threshold indicating low impact to UEs associated with the network. The system deploys the parameter adjustment at the location during the testing time window, and monitors the performance of the network. The system determines whether the success or failure criterion is satisfied, and preserves the parameter adjustment or terminates the test, respectively.

  • Patent number: 11974357
Abstract: A method for virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) sharing. The method can include a service provider receiving a request including service details from a first UE. The service provider can verify the request and then generate a first SIM over-the-air (OTA) message. The first virtual SIM-OTA message can be sent to the first UE and causes the first UE to dynamically provision a virtual SIM. The service provider can also generate and transmit a first unique identifier to the first UE. The method can further include the service provider receiving a second unique identifier from a second UE. After determining the first unique identifier matches the second unique identifier, the service provider can generate and transmit a second SIM-OTA message to the second UE. The service provider can then provide the service to the first UE and second UE according to the service details.

  • Patent number: 11974182
Abstract: Systems and methods of a predictive handoff that cause a handoff of user equipment from one network site to another network site. A network site connected to the user equipment monitors a quality of a signal between the network site and the user equipment and receives movement information from the user equipment. The network site selects a potential network site for the handoff of the user equipment based on the movement information and a potential signal quality between the user equipment and the potential network site. The network site coordinates the handoff and causes the selected potential network site to transmit a handoff instruction to the user equipment. The network site also instructs the user equipment to listen for the handoff instruction and the user equipment and potential network site can complete the handoff.

  • Patent number: 11968701
Abstract: Network scheduling in unlicensed spectrums is described. A scheduler can assess, at a first time, first conditions of an unlicensed spectrum, such as Long-Term Evolution unlicensed spectrum. Based at least partly on the first conditions, the scheduler can determine a schedule for transmitting data via the unlicensed spectrum. The scheduler can, for a first period of time, facilitate transmission of data between mobile devices that are communicatively coupled to the communication tower based at least partly on the schedule. At a second time after the first time, the scheduler can assess second conditions of the unlicensed spectrum and update the schedule based at least partly on the second conditions to generate an updated schedule. For a second period of time, the scheduler can facilitate transmission of data between the mobile devices based at least in part on the updated schedule.

  • Patent number: 11968276
Abstract: A proxy communication system translates contact identifiers. The proxy communication system maps one or more client device contact identifiers to one or more proxy contact identifiers from a pool of proxy contact identifiers. The proxy communication system may facilitate communication on behalf of the client device using the proxy contact identifier. The proxy communication system may also communicate with the client device on behalf of the target device using the client device contact identifier. In some implementations, the mapping may be state dependent, such as different mappings based on a target device contact identifier, recent communications between the client device and the target device, and so on.

  • Patent number: 11966744
Abstract: A system and method may manage traffic to software applications that ingest operations into an asynchronous queue when those operations are required to execute in a synchronous manner. An identifier may be retrieved from data corresponding to each client operation. A process distribution module may be placed in front of the two incompatible systems/applications to inspect each data payload and intelligently distribute the transactions to each instance based on a well-defined algorithm (e.g., even/odd, last digit, etc.). Synchronous execution may then occur according to a timestamp for each operation.

  • Patent number: 11962455
Abstract: Disclosed is a system to prioritize multiple issues associated with a wireless telecommunication network. The system obtains the multiple issues associated with the wireless telecommunication network, where an issue among the multiple issues impacts a UE associated with the wireless telecommunication network. The system obtains a number of UEs impacted by the issue, an indication of importance of severity associated with the issue, and an indication of importance of current UE experience. Based on the number of UEs impacted by the issue, the indication of importance of severity of the issue, and the indication of importance of current UE experience, the system computes a priority associated with the issue. Based on the priority, the system prioritizes the multiple issues to obtain a prioritized list. The system provides the prioritized list indicating an order in which to resolve the multiple issues.

  • Patent number: 11954092
Abstract: An Internet of Things (IoT) server can transmit a series of data blocks of a software update to an IoT device by sending a series of data block messages to the IoT device over a telecommunication network. The IoT device can return data block receipt messages to confirm receipt of the data block messages. The IoT device can also attempt to validate received data block messages, and can return data block validation messages for the data block messages that have been validated. When the IoT server receives data block validation messages for all of the data blocks of the software update, the IoT server can determine that the IoT device has received a usable version of the software update.
