Abstract: In a swimming mask, a skirt includes a circumferential wall in an annular shape extending rearward from a lens frame, and a seal portion disposed behind the circumferential wall to be brought into contact with a face of a wearer. The skirt also includes a high stiffness annular region disposed rearward apart from the lens frame, extending in both side regions and an upper region of a mask body, and having higher stiffness than stiffness of other part of the skirt.

Abstract: An underwater mask includes a buckle with a strap that can be moved and adjusted in the up-down and lateral directions on a wearer's head. The buckle includes a base including a spring with a locking hook, a strap adjuster body turnably attached to the base and including a plurality of engaging teeth configured to sequentially engage with the locking hook according to the turn, a handling member held inside the body and operated from outside the body, and a stopper held by the body. The handling member includes a spring, sliding portion, and a pair of finger pads exposed outside the body by the spring. The stopper includes a sliding contact tapered protrusion that slides sliding against the pair of sliding portions to cause the stopper to swing toward a direction opposite to the strap adjuster body and release the pawl from the engaging teeth of the strap.

Abstract: A buoyancy compensator having a locking system (27) that ensures the ballast (25) not to drop unexpectedly during diving and to removable by one hand of a scuba diver. The locking system (27) includes a releasing unit (30), a female locking unit (50) and a male locking unit (70). The releasing unit includes a turn leg (32) that is to be interposed between the female locking unit and the male locking unit. When the turn leg is forcedly turned at a certain angle clockwise or counterclockwise, an engagement of the male locking unit to the female locking unit is released.

Abstract: A swimming goggle having connector members which are formed by a material which is flexible, elastically deformable and has rigidity as well as hardness higher than those of the head strap where each of the eye cups is formed on its laterally outer portion with a sloped guide depression and a stopper extending in the vertical direction so as to straddle the guide depression, and the connector member has a front end segment adapted to be connected the eye cup and a rear end segment adapted to be connected with the head strap wherein the front end segment is formed with a latching detent adapted to be engaged with the stopper while the rear end segment is formed with an insertion hole through which the head strap is inserted so that the connector member is inserted with its rear end segment ahead into a gap between the guide depression and the stopper until the latching detent is engaged with the stopper to connect the connector member to the eye cup in a detachable manner.

The valve is pivotally mounted on an upper end section of the conduit via arms integral with the valve. Below the valve, there are provided two or more floats. The respective floats are housed inside an annular housing defined outside the upper end section of the conduit in a manner that these floats may move up- and downward. When any one of these two or more floats is given buoyancy and moves upward, the arms are reliably actuated upward and thereby the valve reliably closes the opening.

The first clip member has a guide enabling the second clip member coupled to the first clip member to be moved in a longitudinal direction of the strap. The first and second clip members are formed with stopper means adapted to retain the second clip member at a desired position in the guide.
