Abstract: A memory card connector for automobile includes a main member including an upper lid, a lower lid, a base, a sliding block and an eject mechanism. The upper lid includes a spring piece to press the sliding block. The sliding block has a pin at opposite sides respectively. The lower lid has a first rail and the upper lid has a second rail to guide the pin. When the card is inserted, the card pushes the sliding slot backwards and to move the pin along the first rail until it is secured. When an eject key is pressed, the upper lid moves backwards to compress the first spring and to force the pin leaving the first rail and entering the second rail to return the pin along the second rail to an initial position thereof. The present invention fits the vibrating and dusty environment of the automobile.

Abstract: A coupling assembly includes a first board and a second board. The first board includes a plurality of first conductive pieces located at an end surface thereof and spaced from one another in a predetermined interval. The second board includes a plurality of second conductive pieces spaced from one another in a predetermined interval and located at at least one end surface thereof close to a lateral edge thereof. The second board includes a plurality of recessed portions recessed inward from the lateral edge thereof and located among the second conductive pieces. The first and second boards are perpendicular to each other. The conductive pieces of at least one of the two boards are provided with soldering. The soldering of each of the conductive pieces is heated to liquate out and then contact the perpendicular corresponding conductive pieces to couple the corresponding first and second conductive pieces with each other.

Abstract: A heat pipe includes a tubular member, a capillary wick, and a liquid. The tubular member has a plurality of capillary ditches formed on an internal sidewall thereof. The capillary wick is disposed on the internal sidewall of the tubular member and located on openings of the capillary ditches for covering and sealing the ditches. The liquid is contained inside the tubular member. The capillary wick and ditches provide the liquid with larger cross-sectional area for the capillary action to enhance guidance of the liquid and to further enhance the thermally conductive efficiency.

Abstract: A drawer-type card connector is composed of a base, a cover member, an ejecting device, a slide member, a left card-fastening device, and a right card-fastening device. The base includes a bottom plate. The slide member is slidably mounted in the base, including a top plate, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall. A receiving chamber is formed among the bottom plate of the base and the top plate, the left sidewall, and the right sidewall of the slide member, for receiving the inserted card. The left and right card-fastening devices are pivotably mounted at two sides of a front end of the slide member respectively and each have a fastening piece. When the card is inserted fully, the two fastening pieces hold two sides of a rear end edge of the card respectively, such that the left and right card-fastening devices fail to bounce outward and thus firmly hold the card inside the card connector.

Abstract: A drawer-type card connector is composed of a base, a cover member, a slide member, a card-fastening device. The base includes a bottom plate. The slide member is slidably mounted in the base, including a top plate, a left sidewall, and a right sidewall. A receiving chamber for receiving the inserted card is formed among the bottom plate, the top plate, the left sidewall, and the right sidewall. The card-fastening device includes two pivot members pivotably connected with the slide member, a prop mounted between the two pivot members and parallel to the bottom plate for pivoting downward, and at least one stop portion extending from the prop. When the card is inserted fully, the prop supports the card, the at least one stop portion stops against the card, and the bottom plate supports the prop, thus effectively preventing the card from disengagement from the card connector.

Abstract: A card connector capable of detecting insertion of a card includes a housing; a plurality of terminals mounted to the housing; a contact portion formed in the housing; a tongue located in the housing and having an end mounted to the housing and the other end thereof provided with an action portion close to and spaced from the contact portion for a predetermined interval; and an injecting/ejecting mechanism slidably mounted in the housing and having a bevel facing the contact portion. In light of this, while the injecting/ejecting mechanism is slidably moved into the card connector, the bevel works on the action portion of the tongue to push the tongue for contact with the contact portion, thus effecting detection of insertion of a card.

Abstract: A card connector includes a base having an opening at a front end thereof, two guide channels at bilateral sides inside, and a plurality of terminals mounted at a rear end thereof; at least one movable member movably mounted in the guide channels and having a stopping portion and a bevel formed at upper and lower sides of a front end thereof; a stopping plate pivotably mounted to the base for pivoting movement between a stopping position and a releasing position. While the stopping plate is located at the stopping position, the movable member engages to lock the stopping plate. While the movable member is close to the guide channel, the movable member releases the lock-up status. At least one resilient member is provided for generating resilience keeping movement of the stopping plate toward the stopping position. Therefore, the card connector allows/blocks the normally/erroneously inserted card.

Abstract: A method of combination of a heat pipe and a heat sink includes the steps of preparing a heat sink and a heat pipe, wherein the heat sink has an insertion hole in which the heat sink is inserted; placing the heat sink and the heat pipe onto a carrier, wherein a pressing member is located over the carrier, and a convexity corresponds to the insertion hole; punching the heat sink with the pressing member by punching the insertion hole with the convexity to cause deformation of the sidewall of the insertion hole between the heat pipe and the heat sink, whereby the heat pipe is tightly fitted in the insertion hole; and removing the pressing member from the heat sink to complete the combination of the heat pipe and the heat sink.

The second terminal group close to the opening has a power terminal and a grounded terminal. A first interval is defined between the first and second guiding faces close to the power terminal. A second interval is defined between the first and second guiding faces close to the grounded terminal. The first interval is smaller than the second interval such that an electrically conductive surface of the first card does not touch the power terminal to avoid short circuit while the first card is inserted.
