Abstract: The present invention provides a method for inhibiting melanogenesis, promoting collagen production, and promoting wound healing in the skin of a subject in need thereof, comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of a compound represented by formula (I). Abstract: The present invention provides 11 peptides represented as SEQ ID NO: 1-11. The peptides have the ability of anti-virus and bacteria, and can reduce infections, clean necrotic tissue, and promote debridement so as to facilitate wound healing. Moreover, the peptides can also induce collagen secretion and activate fibroblasts and keratinocytes so as to stimulate angiogenesis. Abstract: The present invention provides a method for treatment of prostatic hyperplasia with banana flower extract. Such banana flower extract can suppress the proliferation of prostate cells and their ability to synthesize dihydrotestosterone. In another aspect, the banana flower extract is also used for ameliorating urinary disturbance. The banana flower extract is a water-soluble extract obtained by sonication and can further be utilized to provide alternatives or supplements for ameliorating symptoms associated with prostatic hyperplasia.
Abstract: Provided is a method for enhancing collagen secretion and preventing cutaneous aging using Chenopodium formosanum extract. The Chenopodium formosanum extract includes active ingredients that are able to effectively enhance the ability of collagen secretion of dermal fibroblasts as well as prevent the glycation of collagen and resist the damage of ultraviolet light exposure. The preparation of the Chenopodium formosanum extract is environmental friendly and is able to promote the economic value of Chenopodium formosanum; thus, the present invention is suitable for applications in the development of food products, especially beverages, skin care and cosmetic products.

Abstract: A life jacket structure includes a life jacket body, at least one set of hanging devices, a blowing tube and an inflation starting device. An inflatable airbag is sewed onto an internal side of the body, and the body further includes at least one pair of strap holes disposed on corresponding position on both sides. Both ends of the hanging device are connected onto the corresponding strap holes of the life jacket. The blowing tube is installed at an appropriate position of the life jacket body and penetrated through the life jacket into the inflatable airbag. The inflation starting device is installed on the life jacket and disposed on the same side of the blowing tube, and further includes an inflation cylinder and a starting mechanism. Abstract: A fermentation apparatus includes a fermentation tank, an air-hole mesh board, a lift-up cover, a blender and a pressurization equipment. An opening is above fermentation tank, an oblique-board base is at the bottom of the fermentation tank, and a feed opening and an air outlet are on the fermentation tank. Two air inlet holes are on the oblique-board base to form a passage through the oblique-board base. Exhaustion holes are on a surface of the oblique-board base and interconnected with the passage. The air-hole mesh board is installed in the fermentation tank and between the feed opening and the oblique-board base. The lift-up cover is connected to the fermentation tank and disposed above the fermentation tank for covering the opening. The blender is between the lift-up cover and the air-hole mesh board. The pressurization equipment is connected to the air inlet hole for supplying a high-pressure gas into fermentation tank.
