  • Patent number: 5201572
Abstract: The circuit controlls a fluidically controlled brake regulator (7) in dependence on the load of a vehicle having at least two wheels each provided with a suspension member (1, 2). Each suspension member (1, 2) cooperates with a fluidic pressure sensor (11, 12) to control the regulator (7) in dependence on the load carried by only one of the wheels, namely the wheel carrying the lighter load.

  • Patent number: 5201571
Abstract: A bearing piece for a suspension unit of a motor vehicle, acting as a pressure sensor for a fluid-controlled brake regulator and intended to be mounted between a suspension element (12, 14) and a part of the vehicle by way of an elastic bearing (16) or, a pivoting mounting, has a piston mechanism (20) which can move counter to the pressure prevailing in a leaktight chamber (24). A mechanism (30, 34, 36, 40, 42) is provided so that the pressure in the leaktight chamber (24) is greater than a predetermined pressure.

  • Patent number: 5202698
Abstract: A directional radiocommunication array for radiocommunication antennas comprises an array of N adjacent radiating elements connected in series by a main line and spaced by a quarter-wavelength on the main line. The directional array comprises an insulative substrate on a first side of which are disposed along a first direction adjacent radiating elements in the form of thin metal layers, each radiating element comprising a radiating slot which widens in a linear manner to either side of an axis from a short-circuited secondary slot line on this axis perpendicular to the first direction and parallel to a second or main propagation direction. Each radiating element is insulated from an adjacent element by a decoupling short-circuited quarter-wavelength slot line. The main line is a coaxial cable substantially perpendicular to each secondary slot line and having a central core and an outer conductive sheath.

  • Patent number: 5200008
Abstract: The tread design of a radial pneumatic tire for ground vehicles is characterized by lateral or transverse grooves on the shoulder ribs having an incline from the normal to the contact surface in one direction and the lateral or transverse grooves in the center of the tread width being inclined in the reverse direction. Improved wear rates with uniform wear is obtained on a drive axle with proper tire rotation. A reversed direction of rotation on the non-drive axle results in more even wear with potentially less vibration and noise.Lateral grooves are inclined form approximately 20 to 30 degrees and leading edges of some tread blocks have acute angles while other tread blocks have trailing edges with acute angles. The resultant distribution of longitudinal tangential stress on tread blocks is improved.
