Abstract: A phaser system is provided. The system includes a first gear connected to a first plate, and a second gear connected to a second plate. A phaser assembly includes at least one piston plate, and axial displacement of the at least one piston plate is configured to adjust a phase between the first gear and the second gear. A hydraulic fluid actuator assembly is also provided that includes a hydraulic fluid circuit including an advance chamber defined on a first side of the at least one piston plate and a retard chamber defined on a second side of the at least one piston plate. A valve selectively pressurizes the advance chamber or the retard chamber such that the at least one piston plate is axially displaced.

Abstract: A power connector is provided that is configured to conduct a current. The power connector includes a base structure, an extension structure, and a connector head structure that define a current path for the current. The base structure is coupled to an output node of a primary conductor and receives the current from the primary conductor. The connector head structure is configured to output the current from the power connector to the load. The extension structure is coupled to and extends between the base structure and the connector head structure. The extension structure includes a current constriction region configured to increase a magnetic flux density of a magnetic field produced by the current flowing through the current constriction region at a position of a magnetic current sensor that generates a sensor signal based on the magnetic field magnetic field produced by the current flowing through the current constriction region.

In a locked mode: the spring pivots the engagement portion into an opening of the drive plate, a rotation of the drive plate in a first direction is enabled, and a rotation of the drive plate in a second direction is blocked. To transition from the locked mode to a free-wheel mode, in which the rotation of the drive plate in the second direction is enabled, the actuator plate is rotated by an actuator to contact the control portion and pivot the strut to displace the engagement portion out of the opening of the drive plate.

Abstract: A dynamic element matching (DEM) encoder is provided that converts an N-bit digital codeword into a pattern of 1-bit values. The DEM encoder includes a binary switching tree that includes plurality of switching blocks interconnected between an encoder input and a plurality of encoder outputs. The plurality of switching blocks are configured to receive a plurality of first control signals such that each switching block receives a respective first control signal and is independently programmable based on the respective first control signal into a first mode or a second mode. Each switching block includes a splitting circuit programmed into the first mode or the second mode to split a digital input into two digital outputs using either both a first splitting operation and a second splitting operation that is different from the first splitting operation or the first splitting operation over the plurality of sampling intervals.
