  • Patent number: 11806941
Abstract: Part retention features are disclosed for securing additively manufactured (AM) parts or for securing an AM part with another component, such as a node, panel, tube, extrusion, and the like, while an adhesive is being applied and/or while the adhesive is undergoing expansion due to a subsequent curing process. The retention features described herein can be used in the context of one or more AM parts such that the elements used to house the retention features (e.g., grooves, apertures, elastic elements, etc.) can advantageously be co-printed with the AM part, thereby removing a manufacturing step. The retention features also can be made with flatter profiles than existing solutions, making the overall structure smaller and less cumbersome to assemble.

  • Patent number: 11811403
Abstract: Embodiments relate to a clock counter, a method for clock counting, and a storage apparatus. The clock counter includes a clock frequency-dividing circuit, a plurality of counting circuits, and an adding circuit. The clock frequency-dividing circuit receives a clock signal and divide a frequency of the clock signal to output a plurality of frequency-divided clock signals, sum of number of pulses of the plurality of frequency-divided clock signals being equal to number of pulses of the clock signal. The plurality of counting circuits are connected to the clock frequency-dividing circuit, each of the plurality of counting circuits being configured to respectively count pulses for each of the plurality of frequency-divided clock signals and generate an initial count value. The adding circuit is connected to the plurality of counting circuits, and adds up the initial count values of the plurality of counting circuits to generate a target count value.

  • Patent number: 11810261
Abstract: A method for fabricating a custom headwear for a subject is described. The method comprises generating a three-dimensional head data file for the subject and determining contour lines on the head; automatically generating a headwear data file. The method further comprises juxtaposing the headwear represented by the headwear data file with the head represented by the three-dimensional head data file having the contour lines thereon. The method yet further comprises utilizing the headwear data file to generate a shape for a desired headwear, the shape having an interior surface to contact the head and an outer surface. Still further, the method comprises projecting lines outward from the contour lines to the outer surface; and utilizing the projected lines to establish headwear contour lines for the custom headwear.

  • Patent number: 11811905
Abstract: A system and method compensate for latency, where the system includes a transmit module and a receive module that implements a DLL in a pseudo synchronous communications link. The method includes determining maximum data latency based on synchronous latencies and analog delays; measuring an actual data path latency by determining a delay in receiving a test pattern transmitted from the transmit module at the receive module using a common synchronization pulse provided the transmit and receive modules simultaneously or with a known fixed latency separation during calibration; determining a latency difference between the determined maximum data latency and the measured data path latency; and compensating for the latency difference for a subsequent data signal transmitted from the transmit module in the pseudo synchronous communications link, such that a total latency of the system with regard to the subsequent data signal is equal to the maximum data latency for the system.

  • Patent number: 11810345
Abstract: An autonomous mobile device (AMD) that interacts with a user operates more effectively with reliable information about that user's pose. Occlusion due to obstacles or sensor field-of-view limits may prevent a sensor from “seeing” a user's torso or lower body while the face may remain visible. Face orientation alone produces unreliable results because a user frequently moves their head. Sensor data is acquired over time and used to determine face and body poses, with each pose representing a location and orientation in physical space of that portion of the user. A transform is determined that represents the relative arrangement of a face pose and a body pose at a particular time. If available, the body pose may be used as the user's pose. If the body pose is unavailable or unreliable at a given time, it may be inferred by applying the previously determined transform to the current face pose.
