    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a memory detection method and detection apparatus, for detecting a current-leakage bitline. The method includes: a memory including a plurality of memory cells, a plurality of sense amplifiers, and the sense amplifier including a power line providing a low potential voltage and a power line providing a high potential voltage; writing first memory data to each of the memory cells; performing a reading operation after the first memory data is written; acquiring a first test result based on a difference between first real data and the first memory data; performing the reading operation again to read second real data in each of the memory cells; acquiring a second test result based on a difference between the second real data and second memory data; and acquiring a specific position of the current-leakage bitline based on the second test result and the first test result.

    Abstract: An npnp layered switch is modified to have a composite anode structure. Instead of the continuous p-type bottom anode layer of a typical npnp IGTO device, thyristor, or IGBT, the composite anode is formed of a segmented p-type layer with gaps containing n-type semiconductor material. The n-type material forms a majority carrier path between the bottom anode electrode and the n-type collector of the vertical npn bipolar transistor. When a trenched gate is biased high, the majority carrier path is created between the bottom anode electrode and the top cathode electrode. Such a current path operates at very low operating voltages, starting at slightly above 0 volts. Above operating voltages of about 1.0 volts, the npnp layered switch operates normally and uses regenerative bipolar transistor action to conduct a vast majority of the current. The two current paths conduct in parallel.

    Abstract: Electrochemical sensors commonly used in breath alcohol testing devices detect a concentration of alcohol in a sample of fluid. The sample of fluid is introduced into the electrochemical sensor and a current is generated by the oxidation of the alcohol within the fluid. The electrical output from the electrochemical sensor, plotted over time, forms an output curve, which may be used to estimate the concentration of alcohol in the fluid sample. The technology disclosed herein includes various methods for determining the quantity of an electrochemically convertible substance in a fluid sample using a breath alcohol content device, including detecting water saturation level of the fluid sample. The disclosed technology involves measuring electrochemical sensor outputs to quantify alcohol content of the fluid sample.

The machine learning algorithm returns a predicted file type and, in some cases, a probability of correctness of the prediction. The file may then be encoded using an encoding algorithm chosen based on the predicted file type.

The method further includes receiving the FEC encoded codeword transmitted via the component under test and determining that the encoded contents of the FEC encoded codeword contains a number of symbol errors that exceeds a predefined threshold. The method also includes utilizing stored scramble seed bits corresponding to an immediately preceding FEC encoded codeword and the transcoded known bit sequence to generate a reconstructed codeword.

    Abstract: A method and system for heterogeneous event detection. Sensor data is obtained and divided into discrete data windows. Each data window is defined by and corresponds to a time period of the sensor data. A time-frequency representation over the time period is calculated for each data window. A filter mask is calculated based on the data window corresponding to the time-frequency representation. The filter mask is applied for reverting the time-frequency representation to a time representation, resulting in filtered data. Features, such as extrema or other inflection points, are identified in the filtered data. The features define events, and transforming the time-frequency representation back into the time domain emphasizes differences between more and less prominent frequencies, facilitating identification of heterogeneous events. The method and system may be applied to body movements of people or animals, automaton movement, audio signals, light intensity, or any suitable time-dependent variable.
