  • Patent number: 11626969
Abstract: Clock recovery from a serial data signal involves using a serializer/deserializer (SERDES) to produce a clock signal which periodically alternates between high and low output clock values. These high and low clock values are generated by outputting for each clock period a series of N digital bits including a plurality of low-level bits to form each low output clock value and a plurality of high-level bits to form each high output clock value. A sync pulse obtained from a sync word present in each frame of the serial data signal is used to periodically determine a frequency error of the clock signal. The frequency error is used as a basis to change a phase of the adjusted clock signal responsive to the frequency error.

  • Patent number: 11627390
Abstract: An encoding method, playing method and apparatus for image stabilization of panoramic video, and a method for evaluating image stabilization algorithm are provided. The image stabilization method for the panoramic video is applicable to an electronic apparatus including a processor. In the method, a plurality of image frames of a panoramic video is captured, and each image frame is transformed into a plurality of projection frames on a plurality of faces of a cubemap. Then, variations of triaxial displacements and attitude angles between the projection frames transformed onto each of the faces and adjacent in time are calculated. The variations of triaxial displacements and attitude angles are smoothed and recorded as movement information. While playing the panoramic video, the panoramic video is corrected by the movement information and played. Thus, it is possible to reduce the amount of calculation required for the stabilization calculations on the captured video.

  • Patent number: 11625661
Abstract: The systems and methods perform simulations in a systematic way as to minimize redundant data fetching and computations and reduce run-time. The systems and methods can cache information that can be used across multiple control strategies and speed up the process of simulation by several orders of magnitude. A business analyst can first generate a set of matching criteria that meets business intuition for the specific initiative and set of stores under analysis. A systematic approach in building similar sites models from control strategies that are combinations of this set of matching criteria can be applied to minimize data extraction and processing. The similarity function allows for the distance of each criterion to be combined linearly. Data for each matching criteria only needs to be extracted once but can be used in all control strategies that uses that criteria.
