Patent number: 11434125Abstract: A beverage pouring device includes a cradle that is moveable between a first position and a second position under a dispensing spigot. The cradle supports a glass and moving the cradle to the second position actuates a valve to dispense beverage into the glass. After partially filling the glass, the cradle automatically returns to the first position and the device continues filling the glass to a desired volume. The device starts and stops the flow of beverage automatically to arrive at a desired volume within the glass. The automatically moving cradle helps with foam control while allowing the glass to be filled hands-free which allows the user to do other tasks while the glass is being filled. The device tracks beverage statistics and sends these statistics to a remote computing device, as well as provides an alert when the beverage source approaches emptiness.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2021Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: WHIDBREW TECHNOLOGIES, INCInventor: William Harr

Patent number: 11437145Abstract: A next-best-action system includes real-time operation and off-line training and processes. During off-line training databases of medical conditions and associated diagnostic factors, tests and treatments are used to create models used for later natural language processing of input electronic text. Diagnostic factors are ranked according to the probability that they indicate conditions and are stored in a matrix. Treatments corresponding to conditions are also stored in a matrix. During real-time operation electronic text is received from patient history of an EHR system, from a transcribed conversation between a physician and a patient, or from input that the physician makes in the EHR system or in an overlaid diagnostic user interface. The electronic text is processed by an NLP pipeline that derives clinical diagnostic factors and test results for the patient.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2021Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: RECOVERY EXPLORATION TECHNOLOGIES INC.Inventors: Carl Bate Tulley, Robert Derward Rogers, Jennifer May Lee, David A. Patent number: 11437989Abstract: A design technique is disclosed that divides up a cellular power switch into different size segments. Each segment is driven by a different driver circuit. The selection of the combination of segments is made to minimize the combined conduction and switching losses of the power switch. For example, for very light loads, switching losses dominate so only a small segment is activated for driving the load. For medium and high load currents, conduction losses become more significant, so additional segments are activated to minimize the total losses. In one embodiment, the number of cells in the segments is binary weighted, such as 1×, 2×, and 4×, so that there are seven different combinations of segments. The drivers may be configured to achieve the same or different slew rates of the segments, such as to reduce transients. The segments may all be in the same die or a plurality of dies.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2021Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: PAKAL TECHNOLOGIES, INCInventors: Paul M. Moore, Richard A. Patent number: 11436557Abstract: One or more load cells measure the weight of items on a shelf or other fixture. Weight changes occur as items are picked from or placed to the fixture. Output from the load cells is processed to produce denoised data. The denoised data is processed to determine event data representative of a pick or a place of an item. Hypotheses are generated using information about where particular types of items are stowed, the weights of those particular types of items, and the event data. A high scoring hypothesis is used to determine interaction data indicative of the type and quantity of an item that was added to or removed from the fixture. If ambiguity exists between hypotheses, additional techniques such as data about locations of weight changes and fine grained analysis may be used to determine the interaction data.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 2018Date of Patent: September 6, 2022Assignee: AMAZON TECHNOLOGIES, INC.Inventors: Dilip Kumar, Liefeng Bo, Nikhil Chacko, Robert Crandall, Nishitkumar Ashokkumar Desai, Jayakrishnan Kumar Eledath, Gopi Prashanth Gopal, Gerard Guy Medioni, Paul Eugene Munger, Kushagra Srivastava
