Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a retractable lighting device for illuminating trailers and other areas. A retractable lighting device is configured to transition between collapsed and non-collapsed states where the retractable lighting device may include one or more light emitting components. A controller may be communicatively coupled to the driving mechanism, wherein the controller is configured to transmit a signal to the driving mechanism that causes the driving mechanism to transition the retractable lighting device from a collapsed state to a non-collapsed state and vice versa.
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a local networked storage that is linked to a remote networked storage system. In one embodiment, among others, a computing device obtains a request to read a file stored in a remote networked storage system in association with a user account, in which the request is obtained from a client computing device through a local network. The computing device also determines that the file is stored in a local cache and receives the latest file signature associated with the file from the remote networked storage system. The computing device can determine that the latest file signature corresponds to a file signature of the file stored in the local cache and can determine that the file stored in the local cache corresponds to the latest version of the file. The file can be sent through the local network.

Abstract: A combustor dome may be formed by way of additive layer manufacturing. The combustor dome may further include a raised outer surface and a recessed outer surface on a hot side of the combustor dome. The recessed outer surfaces may be closer to the cold side than the raised outer surfaces. The combustor dome may include a shadow surface defined between the raised outer surface and recessed outer surface. The shadow surface may define a corresponding cooling outlet in fluid communication with an internal cooling channel defined inside of the combustor dome. The cooling outlet may release air from the internal cooling channel to the hot axial side of the combustor dome.

Abstract: A stop device for holding a unit load device in place on decking is described. In one example, the stop device includes a switchable magnet with an actuator to engage or disengage the stop device on decking using a switchable magnetic field of the stop device. The stop device also includes an interface bumper secured over a first surface of the switchable magnet, a foot plate secured over a second surface of the switchable magnet, and a handle rod assembly that extends from the switchable magnet for positioning the switchable magnet on the decking. The handle rod assembly includes a switch linkage, with the switch linkage extending from the actuator of the switchable magnet to a distal end of the handle rod assembly with a handle for a user. An individual can rotate a locking lever of the stop device to engage or disengage the stop device on the decking.

Abstract: Described are systems and techniques configured to provide a user interface for an unauthenticated user of a materials handling facility. A transient profile indicative of one or more user preferences may be created and associated with the unauthenticated user. As the unauthenticated user interacts with the facility, preferences may be determined and included in the transient profile. Subsequent operation of the facility may take into account the transient profile. As the unauthenticated user moves throughout the facility, the transient profile may “follow” them, providing an ongoing user experience. Should the unauthenticated user later be authenticated, the transient preferences may be incorporated into a persistent profile.

Abstract: A mechanical arm includes a body and an operating arm. The operating arm includes a connector connected to the body, as well as a first adapting part and a second adapting part which are connected to the connector. The first adapting part is configured to mount a first operating mechanism for opening and closing the socket. The second adapting part is configured to mount a second operating mechanism for grabbing and releasing a semiconductor device. After the first adapting part drives the first operating mechanism to open the socket, the second adapting part is able to drive the second operating mechanism to put the semiconductor device into the socket or take the semiconductor device out from the socket.
Abstract: The invention discloses a highly integrated analyte detection system, including: a bottom case; a sensor structure, the sensor structure includes a sensor and a sensor base, the sensor includes a signal output end and a detection end, and at least two first electrical connection areas insulated from each other are provided on the surface of the signal output end; and a transmitter, the transmitter and the bottom case are fastened with each other, and the transmitter is provided with second electrical connection areas, which are insulated from each other, corresponding to the first electrical connection areas, each second electrical connection area is electrically connected to the corresponding first electrical connection area. Such a design reduces the height of the sensor structure, making the overall structure of the detection system more compact, as a result, reducing the volume and enhancing the user experience.

Abstract: An image view angle conversion method includes: model training data are obtained, the model training data including planar images of a training object at a plurality of different view angles and labels corresponding to respective view angles, where the labels corresponding to the different view angles are different. A pre-designed generative adversarial network model is trained according to the model training data to obtain a view angle conversion network model. A planar image of a target object and labels corresponding to one or more expected view angles of the target object are input into the view angle conversion network model, so that the view angle conversion network model generates planar images of the target object at the expected view angles.

The invention discloses, in one embodiment, administration of immune cells that have been reprogrammed by co-culture with regenerative cells.
