    Abstract: A fleet of query accelerator nodes is established for a data store. Each accelerator node caches data items of the data store locally. In response to determining that an eviction criterion has been met, one accelerator node removes a particular data item from its local cache without notifying any other accelerator node. After the particular data item has been removed, a second accelerator node receives a read query for the particular data item and provides a response using a locally-cached replica of the data item.

    Abstract: A data storage system includes multiple head nodes and data storage sleds. The data storage sleds include multiple mass storage devices and a sled controller. Respective ones of the head nodes are configured to obtain credentials for accessing particular portions of the mass storage devices of the data storage sleds. A sled controller of a data storage sled determines whether a head node attempting to perform a write on a mass storage device of a data storage sled that includes the sled controller is presenting with the write request a valid credential for accessing the mass storage devices of the data storage sled. If the credentials are valid, the sled controller causes the write to be performed and if the credentials are invalid, the sled controller returns a message to the head node indicating that it has been fenced off from the mass storage device.

The method includes inserting the imaging device into a working channel of the steerable catheter and generating a real-time image feed of one or more reference points, wherein the orientation of the reference points is known. The method further includes orienting a handle of the steerable catheter to a neutral position, displaying the real-time image feed on a display of the navigation system, and registering the real-time image feed to the steerable catheter by rotating the displayed image so that the reference points in the real-time image feed are matched to the known orientation of the reference points.

    Abstract: Some embodiments include an integrated structure having semiconductor material within a region between two parallel surfaces. The semiconductor material has grain boundaries parallel to the parallel surfaces. At least one circuit component utilizes a region of the semiconductor material in a gated device. The semiconductor material has little if any metal therein so that the gated device has Ion/Ioff characteristics similar to if the semiconductor material had no metal therein. Some embodiments include a method in which semiconductor material is provided between a pair of parallel surfaces, and in which the parallel surfaces and semiconductor material extend between a first end and a second end. Metal is formed adjacent the first end, and gettering material is formed adjacent the second end. Thermal processing induces crystallization of the semiconductor material and drives the metal along the semiconductor material and into the gettering material. The gettering material is then removed.
