  • Patent number: 11386115
Abstract: A transactional data storage engine may implement selectable storage endpoints. A selection of storage endpoints may be received at a transactional data storage engine. The selected storage endpoints may identify storage locations maintaining replicas of data for the transactional data storage engine. A storage engine configuration for the transactional data storage engine may be updated to include the storage endpoints so that access requests for the data may be sent to storage endpoints identified according to the storage engine configuration. In some embodiments, storage endpoints may identify strongly consistent or eventually consistent storage locations for performing reads of the data maintained for the transactional data storage engine.

  • Patent number: 11385353
Abstract: A LIDAR system that generates an outgoing LIDAR signal and multiple composite light signals that each carries a different channel and that each includes a contribution from a reference signal and a contribution from a comparative signal. The comparative signals each include light from the outgoing LIDAR signal that has been reflected by one or more objects located outside of the LIDAR system. The reference signals each include light from the outgoing LIDAR signal but exclude light that has been reflected by any object located outside of the LIDAR system. Electronics induce a frequency offset in the reference signals between a LIDAR data period and a channel period. The electronics use the composite signals generated during the LIDAR data period to generate LIDAR data and the composite signals generated during the channel period to associate the composite signals with the channel carried by the composite signal.

  • Patent number: 11386890
Abstract: A system is provided for reducing friction during user interactions with a natural language processing system, such as voice assistant systems. The system determines a pre-trained model using dialog session data corresponding to multiple user profiles. The system determines a fine-tuned model using the pre-trained model and a fine-tuning dataset that corresponds to a particular task, such as query rewriting. The system uses the fine-tuned model to process a user input and determine an alternative representation of the input that can result in a desired response from the natural language processing system.

  • Patent number: 11386969
Abstract: Storage devices are capable of utilizing failed bit count (FBC) reduction devices to reduce FBCs for word lines in blocks. An FBC reduction device may include a FBC count component, a threshold component, a pre-verify component, and a soft program component. The FBC count component may access the FBC for the word line, where the block has unprogrammed word lines in an unprogrammed region separated from programmed word lines of a programmed region by the word line. The threshold component may determine whether the FBC of the word line exceeds a predetermined threshold. When the FBC exceeds the threshold, the pre-verify component may perform pre-verify operations on the programmed region. The soft program component may program the word line with first data equal to second data programmed in a second block. In response to disabling pre-verify operations, the program component may program the unprogrammed word lines in the unprogrammed region.

  • Patent number: 11386060
Abstract: A system implements techniques for processing data across multiple layers. In some embodiments, a distributed data processing system tracks processing states via a monotonic process, whereby each state is irreversibly entered and cannot be entered without a predecessor state being verifiably completed. In some of such embodiments, a multi-layer data storage system tracks and processes data deletions across disparate layers such that a deletion state can be positively deduced from the deletion states of each of the disparate layers.

  • Patent number: 11388249
Abstract: A system architecture can be used to facilitate communication among applications that are native and/or non-native to an application environment. The system architecture can include a first application environment executed on a client-side computing device. The first application environment can execute software applications that are native thereto. The first application environment can further execute software applications that are native thereto, but which software applications themselves comprise second application environments of types different from the first application environment, and which software applications can therefore execute additional software applications that are non-native to the first application environment. The first application environment can further execute a computation engine that is configured to store and execute instructions received from the first software application, the second software application, or both.

  • Patent number: 11382734
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for protecting the cerebrovascular circulation from embolic debris released during an index procedure. An embolic protection filter is delivered in a reduced profile configuration via an access catheter, and positioned in the aorta spanning the ostia to the three great vessels leading to the cerebral circulation. An index procedure catheter is thereafter advanced through the same access catheter to conduct the index procedure. The index procedure may be a transcatheter aortic valve replacement. A pore distribution in the filter blocks passage of debris greater than a predetermined threshold, minimizes total cumulative volume of debris passing through the filter and minimizes blood pressure drop across the filter.
