  • Publication number: 20030080246
Abstract: Since the flight control surface 23 is adapted to be swung by the use of the oscillating rotary actuator 25 having a carrier 48 (final output shaft) being coaxial with the pivot of the flight control surface 23, the conversion mechanism (such as a fixed link) for converting a linear movement of the cylinder into a rotational movement, which was required in the related art may be eliminated, and thus the fairing for covering the conversion mechanism is not necessary. This allows reduction of air resistance of the aircraft during the flight, and thus improvement of the fuel consumption efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20030054912
Abstract: Axial positions of two driven external gears 66 making up each of a plurality of paired-gear groups 67 with respect to an input shaft 62 are made identical, and a different paired-gear group 67 is arranged by being offset in the axial direction of the input shaft 62. Therefore, only two driven external gears 66 making up the paired-gear group 67 are present at an identical axial position of the input shaft 62. Consequently, even if the diameters of these driven external gears 66 are made large up to the very limit, these driven external gears 66 do not interfere with each other. Accordingly, it is possible to readily enlarge the reduction ratio based on the driving and driven external gears 65 and 66.

  • Patent number: 6508737
Abstract: In a speed reducer, because the idler gears 62 that mesh with the drive gear 58 and the external gears 55 fixed to the crankshafts 45 are provided between those gears 55 and 58, the reduction of the diameters of the external gears 55 and the drive gear 58 can be easily accomplished. Consequently, the inertia moment, and hence the size of the servomotor for driving, become smaller, and vibration and the noise caused by engagement can be reduced as well. The radial distance L between the crankshaft 45 and the center axis Z of the speed reducer 64 can be easily increased to improve the rigidity of the speed reducer 64 in the circumferential direction.

  • Publication number: 20030011265
Abstract: Each permanent magnet formed in an open-letter shape is divided into a plurality of parts, the divided magnets are respectively fitted in open letter-shaped inserting portions, and ribs are respectively provided in dividing portions of the permanent magnets. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent the breakage of pole connecting portions at an outermost periphery of the rotor as adjacent inner peripheral-side permanent magnets directly come into contact with and push the outer peripheral-side permanent magnets. Alternatively, an annular nonmagnetic material is provided on an outer peripheral portion of the rotor so as to cover the open letter-shaped permanent magnets and magnetic material portions inside the open-letter portions, whereby the rotor core is made resistant against breakage, and the flux leakage is minimized.

  • Publication number: 20020157390
Abstract: When the load acting on a fluid motor (25) increases, a changeover valve (61) starts to be changed over toward a low-speed position L, but at this time an additional pilot fluid whose pressure is determined by the amount of fluid flowing into or out of a second passage (68) through first and second notches functions as a pressure regulator for a spool (65), and lowers the pressure within the second passage (68) without lowering the pressure within a high pressure-side main circuit (28), thereby tilting a swash plate (26) from a position of high-speed rotation to a position of low-speed rotation.

  • Patent number: 6447420
Abstract: A first friction clutch (54) is constructed as a negative type friction clutch and a second friction clutch (55) is constructed as a positive type friction clutch. Spring constant of a second spring (75) is made smaller than that of a first spring (65). Therefore, in the middle stage of switching the first and second friction clutches (54, 55), both of these first and second friction clutches (54, 55) enter in a connection state.
