  • Patent number: 10831579
Abstract: An error detecting device for detecting failure of a hierarchical system comprises a detected signal receiving interface and a processor. The detected signal receiving interface receives a parent failure event occurring in the hierarchical system. If the processor diagnoses that the parent failure event is in a failure state, the detected signal receiving interface receives a first child failure event occurring in the hierarchical system. If the processor diagnoses that the parent failure event is not in the failure state, the detected signal receiving interface receives a second child failure event occurring in the hierarchical system. The parent failure event depends on the first child failure event. The second child failure event depends on the parent failure event. The processor sequentially diagnoses until the detected signal receiving interface receives one of the failure events at a bottom level in a binary search tree structure.

  • Patent number: 10830019
Abstract: A method for improving the gas recovery of a natural gas hydrate reservoir by using artificial impermeable layers is described. Artificial impermeable layers are formed by injecting cement slurry into the permeable overburden and underburden layers. When depressurization exploitation is performed, a large amount of seawater can be effectively blocked from entering a hydrate layer, and a production pressure difference between the hydrate layer and the production well is effectively increased, so that a hydrate decomposition rate and the gas recovery are improved.

  • Patent number: 10833725
Abstract: A method of providing wireless communications in a wireless network can include wirelessly receiving a chirp spread-spectrum modulated signal at a first gateway device, the chirp spread-spectrum modulated signal being transmitted by a remote client device. The chirp spread-spectrum modulated signal can be demodulated at the first gateway device to provide demodulated data at the first gateway device. The demodulated data can be processed to provide an indication that a decode of a packet including the demodulated data failed. Time adjacent chirps included in the demodulated data can be combined to provide combined data at the first gateway device. A message can be transmitted from the first gateway device to a remote server responsive to an amplitude of the combined data exceeding a threshold value and the indication that the decode of the packet including the demodulated data failed.
