  • Patent number: 9461649
Abstract: A programmable logic circuit architecture using resistive memory elements. The proposed circuit architecture uses the conventional island-based Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) architecture, but with novel integration of CMOS-compatible resistive memory elements that can be programmed efficiently. In the proposed architecture, the programmable interconnects of FPGA are redesigned to use only resistive memory elements and metal wires. Then, the interconnects can be entirely fabricated over logic blocks to save area while keeping their architectural functions unchanged, and the programming transistors can be shared among resistive memory elements to save area. Finally, on-demand buffer insertion is proposed as the buffering solution to achieve more speedup.

  • Patent number: 9456745
Abstract: In a fundus observation apparatus, an optical system detects interference light generated by superposing signal light having traveled by way of an eye fundus and reference light having traveled by way of a reference optical path. An image forming part forms a cross sectional image based on detection results of the interference light. A specifying part analyzes the cross sectional image to specify an abnormal region located in the vicinity of central fovea of the eye fundus. The association information generating part calculates the distance between the central fovea and the abnormal region and generates association information in which the direction of the abnormal region relative to the central fovea and the distance are associated with each other. The evaluation information generating part generates evaluation information for evaluating the state of the eye fundus based on the association information.

  • Patent number: 9460501
Abstract: An objective assessment method for a stereoscopic video quality based on a wavelet transform fuses brightness values of pixels in a left viewpoint image and a right viewpoint image of a stereoscopic image in a manner of binocular brightness information fusion, and obtains a binocular fusion brightness image of the stereoscopic image. The manner of binocular brightness information fusion overcomes a difficulty in assessing a stereoscopic perception quality of a stereoscopic video quality assessment to some extent and effectively increases an accuracy of a stereoscopic video objective quality assessment. When weighing qualities of each frame group in a binocular fusion brightness image video corresponding to a distorted stereoscopic video, the objective assessment method fully considers a sensitivity degree of a human eye visual characteristic to various types of information in the video, and determines a weight of each frame group based on a motion intensity and a brightness difference.
