    Abstract: An antenna comprises a conically shaped body of dielectric material. Cross-sections of the body have truncated elliptical shape, wherein each shape is truncated substantially through a first focus of the elliptical shape along a truncation line that extends substantially perpendicularly to a main axis of the elliptical shape. The second focus of the elliptical shape lies within the body. An elongated wave carrying structure such as a slot in a conductive ground plane extends substantially along a focal line through the first focus of the elliptical shapes in successive cross-sections. This structure supports transmission and/or reception over a wide range of frequencies. In an embodiment a multi-frequency feed structure is integrated in the ground plane of the antenna.

    Abstract: An apparatus is described for scanning a circuit structure. The apparatus has a linear sensor (16), for detecting light intensity as a function of position along the sensor. A transport mechanism (12) moves a circuit structure (10), such as a PCB or a wafer relative to the sensor. The circuit structure is illuminated with an illumination system (14) that comprises a hollow cylinder (144) with a mainly diffusively and/or specularly reflecting inner wall surface. The cylinder is arranged in parallel with the sensor and has a first slit (40) and a second slit (42) located so that a virtual plane runs through the sensor, the first and second slit to a location for the circuit structure under inspection. The illumination system furthermore comprises a linear light source (146) in the cylinder or the inner wall of the cylinder. In an embodiment the illumination system comprises a splitting mirror (22) in the cylinder to reflect light to the circuit structure.

The client (C) sets up a secure session to an authentication server (CAP) and sends its identifier and a service request stating the required service. The authentication server verifies the client identifier and sends the service request to a service authorization server (DAP). The authorization server checks whether the required service may be provided and sends the authorized service request to the authentication server. The authentication server generates a token, associated with the authorized service request. Via the secure session, the authentication server sends the address of the relevant service server and the token. The client sends the token to the service server, which then sends the token to the authentication server. The authentication server fetches the service request associated with the token and forwards it to the service server, after which the service server gives the client the required service.
