Abstract: An electrode mixture layer composition for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery contains an active material, water and a binder. The binder contains a crosslinked polymer of a monomer component including an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, and a salt thereof. The crosslinked polymer is a polymer that is crosslinked with allyl methacrylate, and an amount of the allyl methacrylate used is 0.1 to 2.0 parts by weight relative to total 100 parts by weight of non-crosslinking monomers, and a content of the crosslinked polymer and salt thereof is 0.5% to 5.0% by weight of the active material.
Abstract: A method for producing a (meth) acrylate comprises transesterification reaction of an alcohol and a monofunctional (meth) acrylate with catalysts in combination being cyclic tertiary amines having an azabicyclo structure and compounds containing zinc, separating a solid that contains the catalysts from a reaction product containing a (meth) acrylate, and producing a (meth) acrylate by transesterification reaction of an alcohol and a monofunctional (meth) acrylate, while using the recovered solid catalyst.

Abstract: Provided is a curable resin composition which exhibits excellent curability and is good in storage stability. Abstract: The deodorizing mask of the present invention has a main body part that includes a deodorizing fiber layer containing a composite fiber having a chemical adsorption type deodorizer bonded to the surface of a fiber with an adhesive composition. The chemical adsorption type deodorizer is a component having at least one type selected from copper and zinc elements. The adhesive composition includes at least one type selected from polyester, poly vinyl alcohol, cellulose, starch, poly acrylamide, poly alkylene oxide and poly vinyl pyrrolidone.
Abstract: A synthetic peptide having nestin expression inducing ability which allows induction of expression of nestin in astrocytes; an agent for inducing nestin expression including the peptide as an active ingredient; and a method for producing high nestin expressing cells derived from astrocytes, the method being characterized in that the agent for inducing nestin expression is supplied. The agent for inducing nestin expression provided by the present invention includes, as an active ingredient, a synthetic peptide including a nestin-inducing peptide sequence consisting of an amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1 or an amino acid sequence formed by conservative replacement of 1, 2 or 3 amino acid residues in the amino acid sequence. The method for producing high nestin expressing cells derived from astrocytes provided by the present invention includes preparing an astrocyte culture, and supplying, at least once, the agent for inducing nestin expression to the astrocyte culture.

Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a deodorizing filter superior in air-permeability as well as in deodorizing performance with respect to an unpleasant malodorous gas. A further object is to provide such a deodorizing filter and a deodorizing mask that do not have an unpleasant odor in themselves, or even after storage in a hermetically closed environment do not develop unpleasant odor or discoloration, and may be used comfortably. A deodorizing filter for a mask of the invention is provided with 2 or more layers of deodorizing fiber layers including a fiber and a chemisorption-type deodorizer, in which the deodorizing fiber layer contains a polyethylene resin fiber, and the thickness of the deodorizing fiber layer is from 0.15 to 0.4 mm, and the basis weight of the deodorizing fiber layer is from 20 to 45 g/m2.

Abstract: Provided is a binder for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery electrode. The binder contains a crosslinked polymer having a carboxyl group, or salt thereof, a use therefor, and a method for manufacturing a carboxyl group-containing crosslinked polymer or salt thereof for use in the binder. The crosslinked polymer contains a structural unit derived from an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer in the amount of 50 to 100 mass % of total structural units, and after the crosslinked polymer neutralized to a degree of a neutralization of 80 to 100 mol % has been subjected to water swelling in water and then dispersed in a 1 mass % NaCl aqueous solution, the particle diameter thereof is 0.1 to 7.0 ?m in a volume-based median diameter.
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a deodorant or a deodorant composition which has excellent deodorizing performance with respect to sulfurous stench from methyl mercaptan and hydrogen sulfide and the like. It is another object of the present invention to provide a deodorant or a deodorant composition which maintains a deodorizing effect with respect to sulfurous stench and which makes it possible to suppress resin deterioration in the case of being kneaded into a resin, and a deodorizing product containing the same. A deodorant of the present invention contains amorphous copper silicate represented by the following formula [1]: xNa2O.yCuO.SiO2.zH2O ??[1] wherein, in formula [1], x is a positive number from 0.002 to 0.040, y is a positive number from 0.07 to 0.48, and z is a positive number from 0.02 to 0.30.
Abstract: Provided are: a deodorizer that has high VOC-adsorbing performance and can exhibit deodorizing properties even in a case in which the deodorizer is kneaded into resin, a deodorizing processed product produced by using the deodorizer, and a method for producing the deodorizer. The deodorizer of the present invention is characterized by including a zeolite represented by the following Formula [1], in which the zeolite is obtained by producing a zeolite and then heating the produced zeolite at a temperature of from 120° C. to 250° C.: xNa2O.Al2O3.ySiO2.zH2O [1]. In Formula [1], x represents a positive number of from 0.5 to 5.0, y represents a positive number of from 80 to 150, and z represents a positive number of from 1 to 20.
Abstract: The deodorant of the present invention is characterized in that the deodorant consists of a crystalline zinc oxide in which zinc oxide and aluminum oxide are composited, and a molar ratio (ZnO/Al2O3) of the zinc oxide to the aluminum oxide is in a range from 40 to 80. The deodorant has a high deodorizing effect against sulfur gases and acidic gases. A preferable average particle size of the deodorant is 0.2 to 15 ?m.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for producing polymer microparticles, this method including a step for polymerizing vinyl monomers in a hydrophilic solvent, which dissolves the vinyl monomers and a dispersion stabilizer but does not dissolve a polymer formed, in the presence of the dispersion stabilizer. The present disclosure is a method for producing these polymer microparticles, wherein the dispersion stabilizer contains a macromonomer having carboxyl groups and ethylenically unsaturated groups at an intermediate location in a molecular chain thereof, the macromonomer has, on average, 1.4 to 2.5 ethylenically unsaturated groups per molecule, and an average value of a carboxyl group content in the macromonomer is 0.5 meq/g to 2.5 meq/g.

The composition comprises a silicon wafer polishing accelerator, an amide group-containing polymer, and water. The amide group-containing polymer has a building unit A in its main chain. Abstract: Provided is an adhesive composition which is flexible, and exhibits excellent adhesion durability. The adhesive composition comprises (a) a 2-cyanoacrylic acid ester, (b) a polymer having a hydrolyzable silyl group, (c) an elastomer, and (d) an acid catalyst, in which the contents of the components (b), (c), and (d) are from 5 to 200 parts by mass, from 5 to 50 parts by mass, and from 0.0005 to 0.5 parts by mass, respectively, relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (a). Further preferably, the composition contains 0.001 to 5 parts by mass of (e) an onium salt relative to 100 parts by mass of the component (a).
