  • Patent number: 5053973
Abstract: In an apparatus for correcting deflection produced in a construction due to the weight of the construction or movement of a movable member supported by the construction, a condition data representing the deflection associated with the moved position of the movable member is stored in a memory section of a correction controller. The movement of the movable member is detected by a position detector and a position signal is generated from the position detector. A command signal is supplied to a calculator and the position signal is received in the calculator synchronized with the command signal. The condition data is accessed by the calculator with the received position signal and is processed into a correction data. A correction data is supplied to a proportional control electromagnetic valve and a hydraulic cylinder for applying a force onto the construction is regulated by the valve to correct the deflection of the construction.

  • Patent number: 5035598
Abstract: An optimum molding condition setting system for an injection molding machine comprises a molten material flow analysis component for analyzing resin flow, resin cooling and the structure/stength of molded products by using a designed mold model and also comprises an analysis result evaluation component for determining an initial molding condition and its permissible range in accordance with the analysis results. The initial molding condition is set into the injection molding machine and a test shot is carried out in order to check for a deficiency of a molded product. If a deficiency of the molded product is detected, a data of the deficiency is entered into a molding defect elimination component. After performing a convenient data processing based on the entered data, a cause of the molding defect can be inferred and a measure for the cause can be obtained with high efficiency and accuracy.

  • Patent number: 5030836
Abstract: According to the invention, in a method of drawing patterns by use of an energy beam, the amount of drawing data is reduced, the irregularity of an array of patterns is prevented, and the patterns are drawn with great accuracy. In a method of drawing a pattern including a plurality of patterns, the amount of drawing data is reduced and the pattern can be drawn enlarged or reduced at a given scale in X-axis direction and/or Y-axis direction. Furthermore, if the pattern includes patterns symmetrical with respect to a line, the amount of drawing data is reduced by use of the symmetry of the drawing data. In addition, in case where patterns are arrayed on a first curved line, the pattern can be drawn as being arrayed on a straight line by performing the shift of a table or deflection of the energy beam parallel to the curved on which patterns are arrayed or approximating it at a second curved line using partial approximate straight lines.

  • Patent number: 5022457
Abstract: This invention relates to a casting control system of a die cast machine, and more particularly to a system for controlling a high speed injection real stroke of an injection plunger and controlling valve closing timing for degassing gas in a mold cavity. The high speed injection real stroke is measured by an arithmetic unit from a signal output from a position detector, and the high speed injection real stroke is then compared with a certain preset value. When arithmetic unit determines that the high speed injection real stroke and the preset value do not coincide with each other, a pretest action delay time of the injection plunger is .+-. incrementally or decrementally corrected until both values coincide.

  • Patent number: 5008052
Abstract: A mold clamping pressure control method for injection compression molding through adjustment of the oil pressure in the mold clamping cylinder by the mold clamping cylinder control valve, wherein a resin temperature in the mold is detected by a resin temperature sensor, and detected values thereof are converted by a converter into electric signals, which are in turn compared with a series of the preset pressure changeover temperature setting values to output pressure changeover signals whenever the detected values correspond to the preset values. The pressure changeover signal selects any of a series of the preset pressure setting values to output the valve opening-shutting directing signals converted into a certain valve opening-shutting amount, thereby to control the opening-shutting amounts of the mold clamping pressure control valve.

  • Patent number: 4938274
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of detecting a degassed state in a mold and a system therefor. A gas release opening is formed between a movable mold part and stationary mold part, and a diffuser block having a path for releasing the gas to atmosphere is disposed on the mold. A secondary flow path capable of generating a secondary flow when the gas is released is formed in this diffuser block, and a wind velocity sensor is disposed in this path. Wind velocities of the secondary flow, which are detected by the wind velocity sensor, serve as indications of a cast state and the like in a die cast machine or the like. The secondary flow path is suitably shut off by a shut-off mechanism, and connected to an air cleaner, so that the wind velocity sensor can be effectively protected from dust and the like.

  • Patent number: 4932458
Abstract: A method of and a system for operating a squeeze plunger in a die cast machine. When the fill-up of molten metal in a cavity is completed by an injection plunger, the moving speed of the injection plunger is rapidly decreased. When the speed at this time becomes lower than a preset value, a preset delay time is measured. After a lapse of this delay time, the squeeze plunger is operated to press a molding material in the cavity, so that plastic flows are caused in the molding material.

  • Patent number: 4868395
Abstract: In a system for continuously exposing desired patterns and their backgrounds on the surface of a target, a first electron beam emitted from a first electron gun is converged by condenser lenses and an objective lens to be focused on the surface of the target. A second electron beam emitted from a second electron gun is defocused at the target surface by a condenser lens and a deflecting coil. A deflector selects the first or second electron beams. While the target surface is being scanned with the selected electron beam, the beam is deflected by a scanning deflector. In delineating a pattern, the target surface is scanned with the first electron beam. In delineating a background, on the other hand, the target surface is scanned with the second electron beam.
