Abstract: A method, system, and device for controlling energy storage devices are provided, the method including receiving a trained machine learning model from a centralized machine learning system, recording temporal data for a respective energy storage device, periodically transmitting the temporal data to the machine learning system, performing a mode prediction for controlling the energy storage device using the trained machine learning model and the temporal data, and sending a control signal to the energy storage device to operate in the predicted mode. The machine learning system aggregates the temporal data transmitted by each agent and uses the aggregated temporal data to update the machine learning model. By using aggregated temporal data, less data is needed from an individual energy storage device so that when a new energy storage device joins the machine learning system, the new energy storage device can benefit from increased performance with less computation.

Abstract: An oleaginous composition is solidified at ambient temperature and in divided form, includes an oil, including at least one hydrocarbon oil of petroleum origin, and at least one chemical organogelator additive. The composition is used as a plasticiser, in particular in tyre production, or as a solvent, in particular in ink production. A method transports and/or stores and/or handles oleaginous compositions that are solid at ambient temperature and in divided form.
Abstract: The invention relates to the use, as a liquid phase heat-transfer medium, of a fluid having a boiling point in the range of from 200° C. to 400° C. and a boiling range below 80° C., said fluid comprising more than 95% by weight isoparaffins and less than 3% by weight of naphthens, a biocarbon content of at least 95% by weight, containing less than 100 ppm by weight aromatics.
Abstract: A fluid diverting module includes a multi-position fluid diverting device comprising three-dimensional movable flow-paths with minimal tortuosity in the movable portion (the rotor) of the fluid diverting device. In some embodiments, the device is also equipped with a filtration module that is capable of filtering solid particulates from fluidic samples. The invention relates to an area of non-disruptive sampling from various sample sources including ones containing solids. The fluid diverting device maintains fluid communication between the sample source and a pressure creating device in all positions of the fluid diverting device, thus conserving the pressure inside the sample source during sampling. The sampling operation is controlled from a controller, which is equipped with a software for manual or intelligent control.

Abstract: A method and devices for mitigating the risk of limb ischemia includes inserting a femoral arterial cannula into a femoral artery of a limb, the femoral arterial cannula having a low-profile balloon to seal the femoral artery. Once in situ in the femoral artery, the femoral arterial cannula balloon is inflated to seal said femoral artery to deliver blood flow in a retrograde direction to said limb while simultaneously delivering systemic arterial blood flow. A femoral venous cannula is also inserted into a femoral vein of said limb, the femoral venous cannula having a broad-profile balloon to seal the femoral vein. Once in situ in said femoral vein, the femoral venous cannula balloon is inflated to seal the femoral vein to drain venous blood flow from the limb while simultaneously draining systemic venous blood flow.
