  • Patent number: 8763746
Abstract: A mounting structure of a handle switch device with which a panel can be replaced by manipulating fasteners for fastening two outer casings of the handle switch device together. A rear casing is temporarily mounted to an inner casing that is mounted to a handle pipe, engagement pieces of a design panel are inserted through through holes of a front casing, and the front and rear casings are fastened together by mounting screws, thereby completing assemblage of the handle switch device. To replace the design panel, the mounting screws are loosened to bring them into a half-engagement state and the front casing is displaced toward a driver side to disengage projection ribs of the inner casing from the through holes. Next, the design panel is dismounted from the front casing, a new design panel is mounted to the front casing, and the mounting screws are tightened.

Abstract: The touch-operating input device is configured so that when the control circuit turns on the main light source corresponding to each of the translucent operation buttons that can be operated, the control circuit, on condition that the translucent operation button corresponding to the main light source that is turned on is operated, turns off the sub-light source corresponding to the translucent operation button that is turned on simultaneously with the main light source. Ease of operation is increased by enabling the operator to distinguish operated translucent operation buttons from translucent operation buttons that have not been operated according to whether or not the main light sources are lit.

  • Patent number: 8063324
Abstract: Paddle levers protrude from lower sides of a center pad of a steering wheel into two lower spaces partitioned using a horizontal spoke and a vertical spoke of the steering wheel. The paddle lever is formed of a transparent photoconductor, and a periphery of the paddle lever is illuminated in a rimmed shape. Hence, the paddle lever can be visually recognized easily, and a finger touching the paddle lever can be visually recognized instantaneously. Therefore, operation almost nearly equivalent to complete blind touch operation can be attained, and the operability is improved.

  • Patent number: 7884291
Abstract: A pair of engaging projections is provided on a periphery of a knob mounting section projecting from an upper case 13. A substantially octagonal annular joint member is engaged with the engaging projections and has a pair of engaging projections provided in the direction of 90 degrees off the engaging projections so as to be relatively rockably engaged with the operation knob, whereby the operation knob is universally jointed through the joint member with the knob mounting section. The operation knob is capable of being rocked by pressing an optional position thereof in the circumferential direction, and by being pivoted on two axes meeting at right angles, properly controlled steady operation can be performed. A seal plate is placed on a concave portion of the upper case. Lift springs are projectingly formed on the seal plate at intervals of about 45 degrees in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 7796004
Abstract: An ignition coil of a dual ignition type that can prevent outputs from becoming unbalanced due to a difference in floating capacitance on wiring that connects secondary output terminals and ignition plugs together, thus realizing balanced outputs. A coil assembly housed in a housing as a coil case has a primary coil and secondary coils disposed concentrically with the primary coil. The secondary coils are comprised of two coils wound in opposite directions with the center of winding width being a boundary. The center of the winding width of the primary coil is shifted from the center of the winding width of the secondary coils by a predetermined width so as to balance outputs from the two secondary coils. A casting material is filled into a gap between the housing and the coil assembly and gaps which the coil assembly has.

  • Patent number: 7777604
Abstract: A high-strength ignition coil that can prevent distortion arising from pin marks formed on a surface of a core and makes it less likely for insulating resin to be cracked. The coil assembly is housed in a coil case. A casting material is filled into a gap between the coil case and the coil assembly and gaps which the coil assembly has. The coil assembly is comprised of a coil pair including a cylindrical primary coil and a secondary coil disposed concentrically with the primary coil, and a core. The core is fitted into a central space of the coil pair and forms a magnetic path. The core is coated with mold resin. Concave portions of pin marks formed on a mold resin coating by removal of core fixing pins when the mold resin coating is formed are filled with mold resin.

  • Patent number: 7591174
Abstract: A rudder angle sensor with high accuracy, including a memory for storing a correction value to correct a rotational delay of a driven gear relative to a main drive gear caused by a backlash at a time of reverse of a steering shaft, a computer for correcting the value measured by the measuring mechanism based on the correction value stored in the memory, to thereby, calculate the rotation angle of the steering shaft. The measured result of the driven gear obtained by the measuring mechanism is corrected based on the correction value, and therefore, the backlash existing between the main drive gear and the driven gear can be matched completely or approximately. Thus, the high accuracy angle sensor is realized.

  • Patent number: 7430809
Abstract: Is disclosed an inclination sensor for detecting a tilted state of a case by detecting by a magnetic sensor a magnetized portion of a pendulum type movement mounted rotatably on a shaft in accordance with inclination of the case, wherein the shaft fitted with a clearance in a rotation shaft hole of the movement is further provided at both ends with loosely fitted thereon spacers and mounted in the case. This realizes non-restricted state of both the movement and the shaft. Thus, the movement obtains an improved response characteristic and an increased stability since no oscillation of a running vehicle is transmitted through the shaft to the movement.
