The recovery tank is configured to store cleaning fluid drawn through the suction inlet from a surface by the vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a tank body and a strainer. The tank body has a lower end wall and a sidewall that extends upwardly from the lower end wall and an inlet duct that extends upwardly from the lower end wall. The strainer is positioned inside the tank body, the strainer movable from a lowermost position to a removed position. The strainer includes a perforated body and an aperture through the body, the inlet duct extends through the aperture of the strainer, and the strainer engages an outer surface of the inlet duct retaining the strainer onto the inlet duct.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed to a vacuum cleaner and removably attachable filter. The filter is configured to separate debris from a flow of fluid drawn through the suction inlet. The filter includes a housing forming a first volume and a filter media forming a second inner volume. The filter media is coupled to the housing such that the first and second inner volumes together at least partially define a collection container configured to store debris separated by the filter media from the flow of fluid. The filter further includes an inlet opening that extends through the housing to provide fluid communication into the collection container such that the flow of fluid with the debris can flow into the collection container such that the flow of fluid with the debris can flow into the collection container and a relatively clean flow of fluid exits through the filter media.

Abstract: A clutch assembly for selectively rotationally coupling a prime mover to an output comprises an input member including an input clutch protrusion, an output member including an output clutch protrusion, and an intermediate member positioned between the input member and the output member. The intermediate member includes a first clutch member engaged with the input clutch protrusion and a second clutch member axially spaced from, but engagable with, the output clutch protrusion. The intermediate member is axially displaceable toward the output member to engage the second clutch member with the output clutch protrusion in response to rotation of the input member relative to the intermediate member.

A quick-release latch secures the first nosepiece and the second nosepiece together. The workpiece contact element is positioned between the quick-release latch and the first nosepiece.
