  • Patent number: 10531772
Abstract: A handheld vacuum cleaner including a suction inlet, a main body, a handle defined by a portion of the main body, a motor disposed within the main body operating a suction source, and a filter coupled to the main body. The filter is configured to separate debris from a flow of fluid drawn through the suction inlet. The filter includes a housing forming a first volume and a filter media forming a second inner volume. The filter media is coupled to the housing such that the first and second inner volumes together at least partially define a collection container configured to store debris separated by the filter media from the flow of fluid. The filter further includes an inlet opening that extends through the housing to provide fluid communication into the collection container such that the flow of fluid with the debris can flow into the collection container such that the flow of fluid with the debris can flow into the collection container and a relatively clean flow of fluid exits through the filter media.

  • Patent number: 10518396
Abstract: A drive blade lubrication assembly for use in a powered fastener driver (10). The powered fastener driver (10) contains a drive blade (42) which snap-fits with a reciprocating piston (58) by a blade seal (103) assembly. The drive blade lubrication assembly contains a lubricant applying member adapted to apply lubricant to a portion of the drive blade (42); and a lubricant storing device which is in fluid communication with the lubricant applying member. The lubricating storing device is adapted to replenish the lubricant in the lubricant applying member. A powered fastener driver (10) containing a drive blade lubrication assembly is also described. The use of the lubricant storing device in the present invention ensures that lubricant is continuously supplied to the drive blade (42) after long time usage of the powered fastener driver (10), so that friction between the drive blade and the blade seal assembly is minimized.

  • Patent number: 10512944
Abstract: An electric power washer contains a main body having a pump and an electric power source, a hose, a handle, and a control circuit. The hose contains a first end fluidly-connected to the pump and a second end fluidly-connected to the handle, which has a button operatively-connected to the control circuit, which is operatively-connected to the pump and the electric power source. The control circuit controls the pump output and contains a timer. The control circuit permits the pump to normally operate at up to 100% normal power. However, when the button is activated, the control circuit permits the pump to operate at a boost power mode of from about 103% normal power to about 300% normal power. The control circuit intermittently pulses the boost power mode and terminates the boost power mode after a predetermined period of time or when the button is no longer activated, whichever is shorter.

  • Publication number: 20190343347
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to a triggerless extractor surface cleaning device for cleaning a surface in which a cleaning solution is distributed to the surface and extracted using suction along with dirt and/or debris on the surface in a continuous operation as the extractor moves along the surface. The extractor further comprises an encoder positioned adjacent a wheel of the extractor for detecting a rotational direction and speed of the wheel to generate a signal. Based on receiving the signal, a controller controls operation of a valve to situationally distribute the cleaning solution to the surface depending on a forward rotation of the wheel and independent of user actuation of a trigger positioned on a handle used to propel the extractor along the surface. Distribution of the cleaning solution can be further optimized based on the detected rotational speed of the wheel.
