Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing a tampon includes a pushing-member inserting mechanism that inserts a pushing member into an accommodating cylinder through a leading-end opening; and a tampon main body inserting mechanism that inserts a tampon main body into the accommodating cylinder from side including a cord through the leading-end opening; a drive section connecting the guide tube and the accommodating cylinder by moving one of the guide tube and the accommodating cylinder towards other one and thus contacting the guide tube and the leading-end part of the accommodating cylinder; a pressing part pressing the tampon main body inserted into the guide tube so as to insert the tampon main body into the accommodating cylinder connected to the guide tube; and an air suction device sucking air from rear-end side of the accommodating cylinder in a case where the tampon main body is inserted into the accommodating cylinder.
Abstract: A cleaning sheet and a cleaning tool which have improved usability. The cleaning sheet is attachable to a cleaning-sheet mounting member. The cleaning sheet has a center section made up of a cleaning surface and at least one end section disposed at one or more sides with respect to the center section in a predetermined direction. The end section has a first portion having a first elongation percentage and a second portion having a second elongation percentage which is higher than that of the first portion. The second portion is disposed in said direction between the first portion and the center section and is constructed so as to be supported by the cleaning-sheet mounting member at the boundary between the first and second portions. The cleaning tool is provided with the cleaning sheet.
Abstract: A cleaning sheet that is attachable to a cleaning sheet-attaching component and is characterized in having a central part configuring a cleaning surface and at least one end provided on at least one side of the central part in a prescribed direction. The at least one end has a first part with a first elongation percentage and a second part with a higher elongation percentage than the first part. The second part is provided between the first part and the central part in the prescribed direction, and the sheet is configured so as to be detachably held on the cleaning sheet-attaching component at the boundary between the first part and the second part. Also configured is a cleaning implement provided with said cleaning sheet.

An absorbent article comprising a liquid-pervious surface sheet, a liquid-impervious leakage-preventive sheet, and a liquid-retentive absorption body disposed between the surface sheet and the leakage-preventive sheet, wherein the absorption body comprises at least two layers, at least one of the layers is a first absorption body layer composed of a hydrophilic sheet and a super-absorbent polymer, and in the longitudinal middle area of the absorbent article, the width of the first absorption body layer is larger than the width of other absorption body layer(s). In the first absorption body layer, a plurality of hydrophilic sheets are stacked, the super-absorbent polymer is disposed between hydrophilic sheets, and the hydrophilic sheets are joined in a region where the super-absorbent polymer is not spread.
Abstract: A disposable diaper having front and rear waist regions that comprise an upper elasticized region extending in a vicinity of a waist-opening periphery, lower elasticized regions, intermediate elasticized region extending between the upper elasticized region and the lower elasticized regions and outside longitudinally opposite ends of a liquid-absorbent structure. At least in the front waist region of the front and rear waist regions, there is a non-elasticized region opposed to a central zone of a liquid-absorbent core wherein a tensile stress of the intermediate elasticized region is lower than a tensile stress of the upper elasticized region.
Abstract: An adhesive agent applying apparatus has an ejecting section that ejects a thermoplastic adhesive agent and applies the thermoplastic adhesive agent onto one surface of a continuous sheet, traveling in a predetermined travel path and relevant to an absorbent article, by ejecting the thermoplastic adhesive agent from the ejecting section. The apparatus includes a contacting-detaching mechanism that causes relative movement between the continuous sheet and the ejecting section along a contacting-detaching direction, an ejecting mechanism that performs an ejecting operation of the thermoplastic adhesive agent from the ejecting section, and a controller that controls the contacting-detaching mechanism and the ejecting mechanism.
Abstract: Provided are an absorbent and an absorptive article containing the absorbent which has excellent water absorbability and leakage prevention ability, and has an intent to achieve reductions in the weight and thickness of an absorptive article. The absorbent comprises a polysaccharide that causes a gelation reaction in the presence of a polyvalent metal ion and a source of the polyvalent ion, in which the polyvalent ion is supplied simultaneously with or after dissolution and swelling of the polysaccharide. The absorptive article containing the absorbent can achieve excellent water absorbability and leakage prevention ability and thus reductions in the weight and thickness as the absorptive article.

Further inside the inner sheet, the innermost sheet is provided and this innermost sheet prevents the inner sheet from coming in contact with the wearer's skin.
