Abstract: A manufacturing method for a composite sheet which includes: conveying a first continuous sheet in a first direction so as to abut a depressed surface of a mold member; forming an absorbent body by depositing liquid-absorbent particles on a portion of the first sheet proximal to a suction hole of the mold; and joining a second sheet over the first sheet having the absorbent body that is deposited therebetween, the second sheet being continuously transported in the first direction. A plurality of opposed slope members guide the liquid-absorbent particles onto the first sheet located on the mold member. At least one of the plurality of slope members causes the liquid-absorbent particles to reverse their falling direction from an upper slope member.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for a composite sheet associated with an absorbent article includes: conveying a continuous body of a sheet continuously in a conveying direction; and bonding a continuous body of an elastic member with the continuous body of the sheet while a position on the continuous body of the sheet at which the continuous body of the elastic member bonds with the continuous body of the sheet is changing continuously in the intersecting direction by transporting the continuous body of the elastic member towards the continuous body of the sheet with a guiding member. The guiding member moves back and forth in an intersecting direction that intersects the conveying direction, and the continuous body of the sheet travels in the conveying direction.

Abstract: To provide an absorbent article that is small and can effectively absorb fluid. The absorbent article includes: an absorbent body having a fluid-absorbent member for absorbing fluid; and an absorbent article main body on which the absorbent body is overlapped with along a longitudinal direction, in which the fluid-absorbent member of the absorbent body is projected in the longitudinal direction from an outer circumferential edge of the absorbent article main body.

Abstract: Provided is a manufacturing method for absorbent products that has a process for placing on connected rectangular flaps that are continuously conveyed on a flap line fastening members that are fastenable on both sides to prescribed areas near center line that is parallel to the MD-direction, a process for forming a cutable line along the center line that can divide the connected flaps in two, a process for forming flaps by cutting the connected flaps along the CD-direction on the flap line, and a process for placing the flaps on connected front torso-surrounding member or back torso-surrounding member or on the main body line so that center line is orthogonal to the MD-direction of the main body line.

Abstract: There is provided an absorbent article having a surface member joined in consideration of absorptivity. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a width direction, and a thickness direction and is worn on a body. The absorbent article includes: an absorbent member for absorbing fluid; and a fluid-permeable surface member, wherein the surface member covers the absorbent member on the side of the body when worn in the thickness direction, the surface member includes a surface sheet and an intermediate sheet that is disposed closer to the absorbent member than the surface sheet in the thickness direction, the surface sheet has a first concave section along a first direction, the intermediate sheet has a second concave section along a second direction that intersects the first direction, and the surface sheet and the intermediate sheet are joined at positions where the first concave section and the second concave section intersect each other.

Abstract: In a disposable pants-type wearing article, a body fluid absorbent panel provided in a crotch region extends in a longitudinal direction A and is fixed to a sheet member defining inner surfaces of front and rear waist regions. The body fluid absorbent panel is formed along its opposite side edges with flaps and free edges of the respective flaps are provided with crotch region elastic members attached under tension thereto. The front and rear waist regions are provided along peripheral edges of leg-openings with lower elastic members attached under tension thereto. Regions of the side flaps in which the free edges of the flaps developed in a transverse direction overlap the associated lower elastic members are affixed to respective inner surfaces of the front and rear waist regions.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing a composite sheet includes joining a first elastic strip member to a sheet by feeding and surface-contacting the first elastic strip member to a continuous body of the sheet; and joining a second elastic strip member to the sheet by feeding and surface-contacting the second elastic strip member to the continuous body. The first elastic strip member supplied toward a first spindle portion side roller is subsequently put around an outer circumferential face of the first spindle portion side roller and an outer circumferential face of a first oscillating end side roller. The second elastic strip member supplied toward the second spindle portion side roller of a second oscillating arm is subsequently put around an outer circumferential face of a second spindle portion side roller and an outer circumferential face of the second oscillating end side roller of the second oscillating arm.

The animal excretion disposal sheet includes a liquid-permeable top sheet, a liquid-impermeable back sheet, and an absorbent layer disposed between the top sheet and the back surface sheet that includes a water absorbent resin and a hydrophilic fiber, in which the absorbent layer further includes a hydrophobizing agent having a higher affinity to the hydrophilic fiber than to the water absorbent resin.

Abstract: A folding apparatus for a combined body of a continuous sheet includes a standing guide member disposed at a predetermined position in a conveying direction, and standing an one end section of the combined body in a width direction by bending a predetermined section of the combined body in the width direction and forming a bent section; a folding guide member corresponding to the stood one end section in the conveying direction for folding the stood one end section by laying the one end section towards a section located closer to another side than the one end section in the combined body; and a shift-regulating guide member for regulating shifting of the combined body towards the one side in the width direction by coming into contact, from the one side, with the combined body when laying the one end section towards the section located closer to the other side.

Abstract: In a wet sheet, hydrophobic outer layer sheets are disposed on both sides of the hydrophilic inner layer sheet impregnated with cleaning solution. Each of intermediate layer sheets is folded over so as to form a space having an opening. End portions of the inner layer sheet are inserted into the spaces of the intermediate layer sheets. The inner layer sheet can come in contact with the outer layer sheet via a space between the intermediate layer sheets. With such a construction, sufficiently high frictional force acts between the inner layer sheet and the outer layer sheet.

Abstract: An absorptive article has an absorptive article body, a pair of side flaps, and a pair of waist flaps provided in the rear region so as to extend outward from the side flaps in the lateral direction of the absorptive article body. Each of the pair of waist flaps has formed thereon a waist stretchable region extended so as to reach that edge of the waist flap which is on the belly side. The waist stretchable regions are adapted such that the dimension of the waist stretchable region stretched at the end thereof on the belly side in the lateral direction of the absorptive article body is greater than the dimension of the waist stretchable region stretched at the end thereof on the rear side in the lateral direction of the absorptive article body.

Abstract: An openable and closable container includes a container body having a take-out opening, and an opening-closing lid provided on the container body swingably about a swing axis on a base end side of the lid, the lid opening and closing the take-out opening. Plate rubber (an elastic member) is provided between the contain body and the opening-closing lid. A packing member (an elastic sealing body) is attached to the rear surface of the opening-closing lid such that the packing member seals the take-out opening of the upper plate.

Abstract: The present invention provides a disposable pants-type wearing article improved so as to eliminate a possibility that elastic members attached to peripheral edges of respective leg-openings might irritate the wearer's skin. The disposable pants-type wearing article has a band-like elastic member having a width dimension in a range of 5 to 60 mm and extending along peripheral edges of leg-openings so as to go half around each of the leg-openings. The elastic member comprises opposite end segments each lying in the uppermost zone of the leg-opening, a middle segment lying in the lowermost zone of the leg-opening and extending across a crotch region and intermediate segments each extending between the associated end segment and the middle segment wherein the intermediate segments are not bonded to sheet material constituting the wearing article.

Abstract: An absorbent body material article includes an absorbent article main unit, an absorbent body material included in the absorbent article main unit and including absorbent fibers and a super absorbent resin, and interspersed sections in the absorbent body material and having a longitudinal direction, a lateral direction, and a thickness direction. A densely gathered state of the absorbent fibers in each of the interspersed sections is less dense than a densely gathered state of the absorbent fibers around each of the interspersed sections. An occupied volume ratio of the super absorbent resin in the interspersed sections is greater than an occupied volume ratio of the super absorbent resin around the interspersed sections. At least one of the interspersed sections overlaps a fold line and the longitudinal direction of the at least one of the interspersed sections is aligned with the fold line.

An elongated shaped absorbent article includes: a top sheet that has a skin contacting surface; a back sheet; and an absorbent core that is disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, in which a compressed groove is formed on the skin contacting surface; the skin contacting surface has an excretory contact region, a front region, and a rear region; the compressed groove has a pair of first central grooves and a first circular groove that is provided in at least any one of the front region and the rear region; and the first circular groove is arranged at a position overlapping a vertical center line.

Abstract: It is intended to provide a composite sheet which is excellent in comfort to the skin face when used in an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper. A composite sheet (1) fabricated by bonding stretchable nonwoven fabric (2) to a non-stretchable sheet (3) using an adhesive (4). The stretchable nonwoven fabric (2) is bonded in the stretched state to the non-stretchable sheet. The composite sheet (1) has a contact area ratio of 65% or more and an air permeation resistance of 0.20 KPa·s/m or less. By satisfying these numerical requirements, the composite sheet shows excellent sweat absorption properties and air permeability when used as a constituting member of an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper.

Abstract: A wearing article having a front waist region provided along a pair of opposite side edges with first fastening members, and a rear waist region provided along a pair of opposite side edges with second fastening members adapted to be engaged with the associated first fastening members. Each of the second fastening members is formed with an uneven structure having a plurality of crests extending in a transverse direction and spaced one from another in a longitudinal direction. A degree of engaging force between the uneven structure and the first fastening member is extremely weak and the uneven structure can be easily disengaged from the first fastening member. The uneven structure may be unfolded in the longitudinal direction and put in close contact with the first fastening member to achieve firm engagement over an area as large as possible between the flattened uneven structure and the first fastening member.

Abstract: A urine suction device improved to achieve quick urine which includes a urine receiver unit and a urine detector unit. The urine detector unit includes a pair of electrode assemblies adapted to output a detection signal as soon as it is wetted with urine. The pair of electrode assemblies is sandwiched between a liquid-pervious first sheet and a liquid-pervious second sheet. The first and second sheets are put flat and joined together along joint zones provided outside respective pairs of opposite side edges of the electrode assemblies. Along the respective joint zones, at least one of the first and second sheets has its thickness locally reduced and the first and second sheets are kept in close contact with each other along the joint zones and in the vicinity of the joint zones.
