Further, the system comprises an x-ray source configured to fire x-rays at the material sample. Furthermore, the system comprises an x-ray luminescence (XRL) detector configured to measure radiated intensity of the x-rays from the material sample. Additionally, the system comprises an x-ray transmission (XRT) detector configured to measure transmitted intensity of the x-rays through the material sample. Also, the system comprises a processor that is configured to: receive the radiated intensity and the transmitted intensity from the XRL detector and the XRT detector respectively; process the radiated intensity and the transmitted intensity to determine an equivalent absorption coefficient; and identify the material sample as diamond based on a comparison of the equivalent absorption coefficient and a pre-stored model species absorption coefficient.

    Abstract: A three-stage modularized convolutional neural network (CNN) called Stairnet is disclosed for efficient classification of concrete cracks in images. Unlike traditional CNNs which exhibit similar structural characteristics in each layer, Stairnet is composed of three distinct parts: stair1, stair2, and stair3, each possessing its own unique structural characteristics. Stair1 exclusively consists of convolution layers, while stair2 incorporates a greater number of layers. Stair3, on the other hand, utilizes larger expansion factors and kernel size. Stair1 and stair2 exhibit various variations that result in their modification alongside certain parameters of Stairnet. In contrast to traditional CNNs utilized for the classification of thousands of classes, Stairnet stands out with its smaller model size, faster training speed, and high accuracy in classifying concrete cracks.

When an external force is applied to the permanent magnet, its position changes compared to the conductive coil, which affects the magnetic flux passing through the coil and induces the generation of electromotive force in the coil, thereby converting mechanical energy to electric energy.

It has a comparatively high selectivity for 2-ethoxyphenol and can achieve a lignin conversion rate of more than 95%, a 2-ethoxyphenol selectivity of more than 20% in a liquid product, and a yield of more than 100 mg/g of lignin.

The compounds can serve as active NIR-II fluorescent probes in many applications, such as, cancer cell-targeted imaging, accurate diagnosis of disease, and image-guided phototherapy.
