    Abstract: The present disclosure belongs to the field of materials with metal structures, and specifically relates to a preparation method for a nano-oxide dispersion strengthened steel. The method includes mixing a ferrochromium alloy, a ferrotungsten alloy, a ferroalloy containing a rare earth element, an oxygen source and a reduced iron powder to obtain a mixture; wrapping the mixture in a steel strip, and conducting drawing reducing to obtain a flux-cored wire; and conducting arc additive manufacturing on the flux-cored wire on a substrate, and then conducting heat treatment to obtain the nano-oxide particle dispersion strengthened steel.

    Abstract: The present invention is primarily directed to provide a new process capable of performing direct conversion of or induction from a somatic cell to brown adipocytes with low molecular weight compounds, without performing artificial gene transfer. The present invention includes, for example, a process for producing brown adipocytes by direct differentiation induction from somatic cells, comprising a step of culturing a somatic cell in a serum-free differentiation induction medium in the presence of a selective PPAR? agonist and a cAMP inducer. According to the present invention, direct conversion of or induction from somatic cells to brown adipocytes can be effectively performed without gene transfer. The brown adipocytes obtained by the present invention are useful as regenerative medicine, models of human brown adipocytes and human beige cells, and the like.

    Abstract: The invention provides, for the first time, strategies to inhibit the killing of transplanted cells by activated polymorphonuclear cells (PMNs) of the recipient. Multiple different modes for PMN inhibition are provided and one or more agents effectively utilized every mode of action. The combination of two or more of those agents with different modes of action synergistically improved the efficacy of PMN inhibition without exerting toxic side effects on the survival of the target cells. The cells may be pluripotent cells, including hypoimmune pluripotent cells (HIP), ABO blood type O Rhesus Factor negative HIP cells (HIPO?), or derivatives thereof. The cells may also be alpha 1 antitrypsin (A1AT) secreting cells.
