Abstract: An automatic dosage-controlled atomizer includes a medication atomizer and a respiration sensor. The respiration sensor includes a capacitive electrode assembly that has a varying capacitance correlated to a respiratory airflow from a user, a resonant circuit that generates a resonant signal based on the varying capacitance, a signal analyzing circuit that obtains a detected vital capacity value and a period time data piece related to a breathing cycle of the user based on a frequency variation of the resonant signal, and an atomization adjustment module that generates a cumulative effective inhaled dose value based on the detected vital capacity value and the period time data piece. The atomization adjustment module causes the medication atomizer to stop generation of an aerosol airflow when the cumulative effective inhaled dose value exceeds a predetermined dose threshold value.

Abstract: A microwave heat treatment method for granulated blast furnace slag is provided, which includes the following steps: subjecting the granulated blast furnace slag to microwave heat treatment at a frequency of 900-930 MHz and then cooling the slag. Microwave rapid heating is utilized to remove the moisture in the granulated blast furnace slag, stress is generated inside the granulated blast furnace slag particles to promote the formation of cracks or the decomposition of the granulated slag particles into small particles. After the microwave reaches a certain power, the microwave is turned off, an air blower is turned on, and thermal stress is generated inside the granulated blast furnace slag particles, so that the particles are further promoted to generate cracks or fragmentation; and then the desired fine powder can be obtained by ball milling the granulated blast furnace slag after microwave heat treatment for a short time.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for evaluating the fatigue damage and life of a bridge structure under a multi-factor coupling effect. The method comprises the following steps: S1, reproducing complex service environment action values; S2, analyzing performance values of a bridge structure; S3, calculating coupling fatigue damage of a vulnerable part; and S4, predicting a remaining life of the bridge structure. By adopting the method, the fatigue damage condition and remaining life of an in-service bridge under a multi-factor coupling effect can be accurately evaluated, and the effect of each factor/action and the coupling effect the factors/actions in fatigue damage of a vulnerable part are quantitatively analyzed, thereby providing data support and decision-making reference for the operation and maintenance management, reinforcement and repair, and optimal design of bridges.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein show a novel helical meandered antenna, wherein some embodiments feature tunability through the application of DC voltage to switch and connect multiple antenna arms. The design, successfully fabricated and tested for wireless applications, exhibits a compact size and omnidirectional radiation pattern. The use of diodes as effective components for tunability is explored, allowing adjustments in the operating frequency of the helix. Extensive simulations and measurements were conducted on over 15 different antenna designs, showing consistent results. The proposed helical antenna demonstrates a fine-tunable operation frequency change from 459 MHz to 338 MHz (over 30% change) with low voltage supplied DC from 0 V to 1.5 V.
