Abstract: A hydraulic valve includes an on/off seat-type main valve with two ports having a displaceable poppet for opening and closing the main flow channel; an on/off seat-type pilot valve with three ports, with a magnetomotive force producing coil, a magnetic circuit, and an anchor movable with the magnetomotive force produced by the coil; and a frame with required channels and spaces for the poppet and for the anchor. Closing the inlet channel displaces the poppet and opens the main flow channel. Opening the inlet channel forces the poppet to close the main channel. The anchor includes a frame with a first sealing element for closing the low-pressure outlet channel of the pilot valve and with a second sealing element for securing the closing of the high-pressure inlet channel of the pilot valve. The sealing surface of the second sealing element is movable in relation to the frame of the anchor.

Abstract: A rigid-flexible coupling high-accuracy galvo scanning motor comprises: a stator, a rotor rotating relative to the stator, bearing seats and at least two groups of encoders. The rigid-flexible coupling bearings are installed on the rotating shaft of the rotor; each of the rigid-flexible coupling bearings comprises: a rigid bearing and a flexible hinge ring which is elastically deformable, and the flexible hinge ring is fixed in an inner ring of the rigid bearing; the at least two groups of encoders comprise: a first group of encoders and a second group of encoders; the first group of encoders is used to measure a rotation angle of the rotating shaft; and the second group of encoders is used to measure a rotation angle of the inner ring of the rigid bearing. A friction dead zone is avoided through the elastic deformation of the flexible hinge ring, thereby reducing a disturbance bandwidth.

Abstract: A low complexity, low powered, non-invasive, and wearable system for detecting pulmonary edema and emphysema by estimating an average dielectric constant includes a radio frequency (RF) sensor array, which is fabricated along a flexible substrate, a data collection unit, a body area network (BAN), and a post-processing unit. The flexibility of the flexible substrate allows the RF sensor array to worn around the chest region. A plurality of ports of the RF sensor array is used to measure a set of transmission coefficients. The data collection unit accumulates and transfers the set of transmission coefficients to the post-processing unit, wherein the BAN is used during the transfer process. At the post-processing unit, the average dielectric constant is estimated. Since the average dielectric constant can be used as a measure of fluids and air within the lungs, pulmonary edema and emphysema may be detected using the average dielectric constant.
