Abstract: A heating system including a power supply and a heating element for conducting a current from the power supply. A temperature sensing device is adopted to detect a temperature of the heating element, and a switch is connected in a circuit containing the power supply and the heating element to switch the current on or off. Further, a microprocessor produces a pulse-width-modulated signal as a function of the detected temperature, where the pulse-width-modulated signal drives the switch.
Abstract: A high frequency charger includes a charge circuit for charging a depleted battery and a boost circuit for jump-starting a vehicle. Two separate high frequency transformers are provided for the charge and boost circuits. A selector switch selectively activates at least one of the charging circuit and the boost circuit.

Abstract: An expandable cooler is provided. The cooler includes an insulating portion defining a storage cavity and an expandable portion defining a second storage cavity. The expandable portion is adapted to move between an open and a closed position. The expandable portion may be fixedly attached to the insulated portion. In a further embodiment, a telescoping handle is attached to the cooler. A hook is provided on the telescoping handle and is adapted to be received in a corresponding slot in the expandable portion. The expandable portion may be moved between the open and closed position via the handle.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a mobile power system. The mobile power system comprises a power inverter for receiving a DC input and providing an AC output, and a video display. The power inverter and the video display comprise an integrated unit.
Abstract: A cable alarm system is provided that includes: a lock; a cable coupled to the lock and operative to conduct a current; a secondary wire coupled to the lock and parallel to the cable and operative to conduct a current; a current detector coupled to the cable and the secondary wire, operative to detect an interruption of a current in at least one of the cable and the secondary wire; a battery operative to supply power to the current detector; an alarm coupled to the current detector and receiving power from the battery; and a heat sensor coupled to the cable and the secondary wire.
Abstract: A flashlight is provided. The flashlight includes a housing having a first end and a second end. A first light source is disposed at the first end of the housing. A second light source is disposed at the second end of the housing. A battery is disposed in the housing. A selector selectively couples the first light source and the second light source to the battery.
Abstract: A battery charger includes a supply voltage unit supplying a power supply voltage, a constant current generator receiving the power supply voltage and outputting a substantially constant current, and a timer whose output is coupled to the constant current generator. The timer outputs the timer output in response to a transition in the power supply voltage. The supply voltage unit changes a magnitude of the power supply voltage in response to the timer output so that the substantially constant current is changed from a first current level to a second current level.
