Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for group identification and content delivery. In accordance with one implementation, a computer-implemented method is provided that includes operations performed by at least one processor. The operations of the method include generating, based on identification data, an identification profile for each member of a set of members, the set of members being associated with a viewing group. The set of members may comprise all of the members of the viewing group or any subset of the members of the viewing group. The operations also include determining an individual score for each member of the set of members for each media file of a plurality of available media files based on the corresponding identification profile. Additionally, the operations include determining a group score for each of the plurality of available media files based on the corresponding individual score of each member.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for graph data modeling. In accordance with one implementation, a method is provided that includes operations performed by at least one processor. The operations of the method include receiving raw data and determining a model for the raw data, wherein the model defines the graph structure for the raw data. The method also includes converting the raw data to fit the model, and generating at least a portion of a graph based on the raw data and the model, wherein the graph produces modeled data. The method also includes archiving the graph.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for improving interactions with and between computers in content searching, generating, hosting and/or providing systems supported by or configured with personal computing devices, servers and/or platforms. The systems interact to identify and retrieve data within or across platforms, which can be used to improve the quality of data used in processing interactions between or among processors in such systems. Computer-based systems leverage information shared within an electronic computing environment in order to provide a novel framework for detecting device capabilities from broadcasted information shared by such devices, which creates more computing opportunities for direct integration of the physical world into computer-based systems, thereby improving efficiency, accuracy and cost-effectiveness in the manner media content, application program and/or computing services are provided.

Abstract: Computer implemented methods are disclosed for providing geographical information to a user. One method includes observing, via location information generated or obtained through a user's mobile electronic device, a user traverse a preferred user route from the start location to the destination, and saving the preferred user route in relation to the user. The method may predict, based on past behavioral information for the user, a predicted start time of a future trip to the destination and may identify one or more routes from the start location to the destination. In addition, the method may compare, at a time relative to the predicted start time of the future trip, a duration or distance associated with traversing the preferred user route to a duration or distance associated with traversing the fastest route or the shortest route from the start location to the destination.

Abstract: Server racks that are integrated with cold air delivery are described. Each server rack has a tube having a hollow space therein. The hollow space is used to deliver cold air via one or more valves to one or more servers. The one or more valves are either integrated or fitted to the server racks. The use of the hollow space by itself increases pressure of the cold air. There is no need to use a large fan that consumes a large amount of energy to pressurize the cold air and no need to use a raised floor.

Abstract: An email system is configured to enable a user to identify frequent email senders and block or consolidate emails from such senders. The emails received within a predetermined time period from a sender, who is selected for consolidation by a user of an email account, are consolidated into one entry in the inbox. This mitigates the inbox from getting overcrowded with frequent emails from various senders. Statistics related to various senders are also generated in order to aid the user in identifying senders whose emails need to be consolidated or blocked.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for electronic distribution of electronic content. The method includes retrieving data indicating transmission of electronic content to a plurality of electronic devices within a geographical zone extending between an inner boundary extending around a target location and an outer boundary extending around the target location; receiving data indicating presence of one of the plurality of electronic devices in a target geographical zone, the target geographical zone being located within the inner boundary; determining a time difference between transmission of the electronic content to the one of the plurality of electronic devices and the one of the plurality of electronic devices' presence in the target geographical zone; and determining an electronic device conversion occurred when the time difference is less than a threshold period of time associated with the electronic content.

Abstract: As provided herein, a first device may be registered as authorized to authenticate a user login into a service from a second device (e.g., a smart phone may be used to log the user into a webmail service on a computer without the user having to enter a password through the computer). Responsive to the user attempting to access the service through the second device, a login interface may be displayed on the first device. The user may confirm or deny that the user wants to log into the service on the second device, thus allowing the user to seamlessly log into the service on the second device (e.g., without entering a password) while mitigating unauthorized logins into the service from unknown devices. Further, the user may use the first device to delegate the authority to authenticate the user login into the service to one or more other devices.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed at cost estimation. In embodiments, a method may include receiving an observed event volume and an observed revenue in the current logical interval for a campaign. The method may also include tracking state information of various revenue state variables and events per revenue state variables associated with the previous logical interval. In addition, the method may include determining a cost estimate for a present logical interval of the campaign based on the state information, the observed event volume, the observed revenue, and an events per revenue forgetting factor. Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving performance of a system including a first computing system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the first computing system receives a request via a network from a client device. The first computing system determines whether a second computing system is available to respond to requests from the first system. The first computing system obtains a response to the request received from the client device based, at least in part, on one or more estimated values maintained by the first computing system according to whether the second computing system is available to respond to requests from the first computing system. The first computing system transmits the response to the client device.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems, methods, and computer storage media directed at adaptive representation of a control/volume relationship. In embodiments, a method may include receiving, from a control system, a request for control/volume relationship information of a target event for a tactic group. In response, a representation of a control/volume curve can be generated. The representation of the control/volume curve can include a number of control segments. In embodiments, the control segments included within the representation of the control/volume curve are determined based, at least in part, on one or more configuration parameters. The resulting representation of the control/volume curve can then be transmitted to a control system. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed herein.

Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for displaying content associated with a video element of a video are provided. For example, a video may comprise video elements (e.g., pixels of frames of the video depicting an entity such as a car, an actor, a monument, etc.) that are tagged with content tags (e.g., a textual string such as a search query used to obtain content from content providers). When a user interacts with the video element (e.g., a touch gesture, such as a pressure sensitive gesture, on a video element depicting the actor), content associated with a content tag used to tag the video element may be retrieved (e.g., an image, a social network profile, search results, and/or other content associated with the actor). In this way, the content may be provided to the user for further action or learning about the entity depicted by the video element.

Abstract: Managing electronic addresses based on communication patterns. A method includes tracking metadata of a plurality of electronic communications of a user. One or more lists of electronic addresses of recipients are generated for the user based on the metadata. Electronic addresses of potential recipients are identified from the one or more lists in response to an input indicative of selection of an electronic address of a recipient. The identified electronic addresses are recommended to the user. An input indicative of one or more electronic addresses selected by the user from the identified electronic addresses is received. Further, an electronic message is sent to the selected electronic addresses.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for optimizing full-spectrum cardinality approximations on big data utilizing an optimized order statistics technique. To accomplish the foregoing, a multiset of objects that each corresponds to one of a plurality of objects associated with a resource are obtained. A compound data object is populated at least in part with data that is derived based on generated decimal fraction hash values that correspond to each object in the obtained multiset. The populated compound data object is processed with a full-spectrum arithmetic mean estimation operation that can accurately determine a cardinality estimate for the obtained multiset using less resources and time when compared to traditional techniques. The determination is further made without the need to employ linear counting or bias correction operations on low or high cardinalities.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for timing message notifications to be provided to mobile device users based on their geographic locations with respect to geographic areas associated with a threshold level of content consumption. The timing of message notifications may be controlled in order to optimize the chances of delivering targeted content to a mobile device user based on the current geographic location of the user's device relative to a threshold level of content consumption area. As mobile device users may be more likely to launch a client application in a place where other users are currently consuming content, a general message notification sent to the user's device located in a geographic area associated with a threshold level of content consumption, may increase the likelihood that the user will launch the client application and thereby, allow targeted content to be delivered to the user's mobile device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for the distribution of data center power are disclosed. In one embodiment, the method includes supplying power to a critical load using a stored energy device in response to detecting an outage of a utility; transmitting an on bypass request to a reserve power system via an automatic bypass input upon determining that a capacity of the stored energy device has reached a pre-determined threshold, wherein the on bypass request is transmitted from the primary UPS to a switchboard of the reserve power system; transferring the critical load to the reserve power system if the reserve power system is able to support the critical load, the transferring the critical load to the reserve power system comprising coupling the critical load to the switchboard via an automatic bypass input of the primary UPS.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods for generating recommendations based on online history information and geospatial data. The disclosed systems and methods provide a novel framework for automating the transmission of electronic recommendations to users by consistently monitoring electronic information regarding a user's interests correlating that data with inventory information and geospatial information. The disclosed framework operates by leveraging available user data, user provided objectives, or various real-time data associated with a user, and using the aforementioned data as inputs for recommendation models, in order to generate and transmit the optimal recommendations to the user.
