The base station device determines whether the base station identifier is to be altered, and processes the base station identifier to generate an altered base station identifier for the base station device. The base station device performs one or more actions to cause the altered base station identifier to be broadcasted. The altered base station identifier is broadcasted in one or more additional system information messages that are receivable by the user devices.

An estimated time to remediate the network event, and/or one or more remedial measures, may be determined and implemented based on remediation measures taken to remediate the past network events. The determined remedial measures may include one or more temporary remedial measures effected until a permanent solution is put into place. Users who are affected, or who are likely to be affected, may be contacted to indicate the estimated remediation time. Feedback may be used to refine the estimation and/or remediation for future similar network events.

The device may generate a first mapping between the file name and the content provider, and may record the first mapping to a ledger system. The first device determines that the timer has expired, and provides, to the second device, additional packets instructing use of the second audio bit rate. The bandwidth of the device-induced phase changes is greater than the bandwidth of voice-induced phase changes, and the device-induced phase changes are greater in intensity than the voice-induced phase changes. The device-induced phase changes mask voice-induced phase changes through the telecommunications fiber link that are otherwise detectable by voice detection equipment tapped to the telecommunications fiber link.
