Abstract: The present invention relates to a proof-of-entry device and a badge which is suitable in particular for a proof-of-entry device. The proof-of-entry device substantially comprises a badge and a validation component which, in a particularly preferable manner, are integral. Advantageously, the validation component is detachably secured on the badge. This component is preferably as wide and/or long as the badge and carries, for example, a chip, magnetic strip, bar code and/or a holographic image. The inventive badge, which is in particular suitable for a proof-of-entry device of this type, has a design support, a counter-member, a hinge connecting the design support and the counter-member, and a retaining element which, when the counter-member has been folded behind the design support, substantially secures these components.
Abstract: A dump facility for RV sewage-containing tanks allows the tanks to be emptied in a simple and hygienic manner. A container which can receive a tank includes a connector for making a liquid tight seal with an outlet from the tank when it is received by the container. A flexible conduit is connected to the connector and transports sewage from the tank to a disposal location, and a spray head may be mounted to the connector to spray cleaning liquid into the tank within the container. The container is mounted for movement about a generally horizontal axis between the first position in which a tank may be readily inserted into the container, and a second position in which sewage from the tank may flow by gravity through the connector and the flexible conduit. Rotation of the tank about the axis may be provided manually or by a reversible powered element (such as a motor with associated sprockets and chain).

Abstract: Process of applying a self-adhesive film to a surface of an automobile or other vehicle. Later removal of the film is facilitated by first applying a parting layer to the surface, except for surface regions being covered by the perimeter and certain other areas of the self-adhesive film.
Abstract: A device for treatment of human urinary incontinence in the form of a catheter which can be inserted into the urethra and carries a balloon arrangement which can be filled with fluid to close off the urinary bladder, where the balloon arrangement holds the catheter in the lumen of the bladder. The fluid can be admitted to and discharged from the balloon arrangement via at least one channel running along the catheter wall which is closed off at the distal end of the distal part of the catheter. A self-closing valve is formed at a proximal end of the proximal part of the catheter. A hydraulic actuating mechanism is also located in the lumen of the urinary bladder. The hydraulic actuating mechanism can be hydraulically actuated by mechanical pressure exerted on a compressible balloon located at the distal end of the catheter. The compressible balloon is filled with fluid and is connected to the actuating mechanism via a connecting channel.
Abstract: A process and device for boring holes in soil or rocks, in particular for percussion or rotary percussion boring. A bore hole is formed by an annular drill bit mounted on boring rods and at the same time a jacket tube which surrounds the boring rods with a certain gap is introduced. The annular drill bit is flushed during boring by a flushing medium fed into the annular gap defined between the boring rods and the jacket tube. When boring is completed, a setting suspension is fed into the annular gap to form an anchorage with the boring rods. An anchorage can thus be obtained in a simple and reliable manner immediately after a bore hole is completed, in particular in loose or slack material, by a device having a simple design.

Abstract: A snowboard boot for freestyle riding includes, as usual, a soft boot-shaped inside portion and a boot-shaped outside portion that is provided with a soft shaft. To transmit the force for backside turns with legs bent to the side, a rigid insert is provided between the inside portion and the outside portion that extends about the heel area. At the height of the ankle a rigid back portion embracing the calf is movable on the insert about an area positioned approximately in the longitudinal center plane of the boot.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for treating erectile dysfunction includes arranging a therapy apparatus to be connected to an electrical power source, placing a skin electrode on two sides laterally of a penile shaft and employing an amplifier for performing the stimulation. A current is applied transcutaneously for a regeneration of the smooth musculature of the penile corpus carnaversum. The current applied has zero line-symmetrical impulses of rectangular or trapezoid form with a built-up time of 0,01 to 2 seconds, a stimulation period of 1 to 60 seconds direct or alternating, a stimulation pause of 0.01 to 60 seconds, a frequency range of 1 to 50 Hertz and an impulse period of 100 .mu.s to 10 ms. Advantageously, the stimulation is performed diagonally alternatingly with zero-line symmetric impulses of trapezoidal shape in a first channel and in a second channel with alternating stimulations. The frequency for the first channel is 10 to 20 Hertz and the frequency for the second channel is 20 to 35 Hertz.
Abstract: A device for the treatment of human urinary incontinence with a catheter which can be inserted into the urethra and carries a balloon arrangement which can be filled with fluid to close off the urinary bladder and to hold the catheter in the lumen of the urethra. The fluid can be admitted to and discharged from this balloon arrangement via at least one closed channel running along the catheter wall which is closed off at the distal end of the catheter, and via a valve mounted at one proximal end section of the catheter in inserted condition. The length of the catheter is dimensioned such that its distal end in inserted condition lies within the urethra. A hydraulic actuating mechanism, also located in the lumen of the urinary bladder, is assigned to the self-closing valve.
Abstract: In a process for drilling, in particular rotary percussion or percussion drilling, and lining holes in the ground or rocks, a hole is percussion and/or rotation drilled by a cutter mounted on boring rods and a lining is formed by a jacket tube. During drilling, at least one jacket tube coupled to the cutter is drawn in the axial direction by the cutter into the bore hole and once drilling is finished, the cutter is at least partially removed from the jacket tube together with the boring rods. In a device for drilling, in particular percussion or rotary percussion drilling, and lining holes in the ground or rocks, a cutter mounted on boring rods drills a bore hole by percussion and/or rotary drilling. The cutter is divided in the radial direction.

Abstract: A one-piece or two-piece slide mount, having a window and an inner receiving chamber for the slide film which can be introduced into the mount from a narrow side thereof, and at least two guide ribs running in the direction of insertion, located outside the window on two sides in the transverse direction to the direction of insertion and non-slidably fixing this film transverse to the direction of insertion and on the plane of the inserted slide film. These guide ribs form an insertion aid. Over a longer initial guide portion (7) starting from the insertion entrance in the transverse direction to the direction of insertion (E), the two guide ribs (5, 6) as an insertion aid have a much greater distance between them than the width of the slide film and with an inclined transition portion (8) in the direction of insertion (E) merge into a fixing portion (9). Such fixing portions (9) are spaced apart in the same transverse direction corresponding to the width of the slide film.
Abstract: A rivet tool has a rivet pin which can be moved in a bore of a stamp die. The tool consists of a hydraulic cylinder having two pistons in which the first piston carries the rivet pin and the second piston carries the stamp die. The chamber between the pistons is connected with a variable volume pressure chamber. The cylinder chamber, which is facing the first piston, is connected with a pressure cylinder. After a rivet has been conveyed to beneath the rivet pin, a pressure cylinder is activated and a throttle interconnected between the chamber between the pistons and the pressure chamber. The stamping process is carried out hereby and the first piston is then pressed in direction of the second piston, whereby the first piston then lies on top of the second piston to effect the stamping process.
