Abstract: A laser projection system for projecting an image on a workpiece includes a photogrammetry assembly and a laser projector, each communicating with a computer. The photogrammetry assembly includes a first camera for scanning the workpiece, and the laser projector projects a laser image to arbitrary locations. Light is conveyed from the direction of the workpiece to the photogrammetry assembly. The photogrammetry assembly signals the coordinates light conveyed toward the photogrammetry assembly to the computer with the computer being programmable for determining a geometric location of the laser image. The computer establishes a geometric correlation between the photogrammetry assembly, the laser projector, and the workpiece for realigning the laser image to a corrected geometric location relative to the workpiece.

  • Patent number: 10156737
Abstract: Sets, kits or stocks of anti-myopia lenses and methods for their use, that do not require a clinician to measure peripheral refractive error in the eyes of myopic patients. Lenses having peripheral powers or defocus set in accordance with central corrective power will cover almost all normal myopes not worse than ?6D central refractive error. For example, a kit or set of lenses (50, FIG. 15) can have multiple parts or sub-sets each with a compartmented container with lenses arranged according to increments of central corrective power. The lenses of the first part have four steps of peripheral power or defocus to provide therapeutic effect and, while the lenses of the second part also have four steps, the level of therapeutic effect is higher. • Patent number: 10154803
Abstract: A patient monitor is disclosed for detecting patient movement or abnormal breathing. Images of a patient are obtained by a stereoscopic camera. These images are then processed by a 3D position determination module which determines measurements indicative of positions of at least part of a patient. The obtained measurements are then passed to a model generation module which generates a breathing model of the variation in position of the at least part of a patient during a breathing cycle. Subsequently abnormal breathing or patient movement can be detected by processing further images obtained by the stereoscopic camera to determine more measurements indicative of positions of at least part of a patient.
